Description: Rossopomodoro, as well as Pizza & Borders and Anema & Cozze, is part of the Group Sebeto Spa , whose business activity was founded in 1988. The first store of the group, identified by the brand Pizza and Stroke, was born in that year from an innovative idea: convert the model of traditional pizzeria combining the tradition of the pizza and the products of the earth, replicated through preparations that reflect the recipes of the Neapolitan cuisine, and the new image of a completely different from the classic pizza restaurants. Rossopomodoro continues and strengthens intuition original further focusing on product quality, on philological research designed to maintain the uniqueness of the dishes that make up the menu, and finally on the characterization of the premises and the containment of prices to the public. The ultimate goal is to spread the Neapolitan cuisine in Italy and worldwide.

This restaurant was around the corner from my hotel and reccommended by reception. The food wasn't bad but their service was poor. I was afflicted by the 'solo traveller' attitude. Got a so-so table and was treated o0ffhand by staff. They weren't friendly or helpful. I just ate and ran.

This seemed like a mostly locals place, which was great. While my salad was filled with lame light green chunks of iceberg lettuce (in Roma, really?), the main dish (fusilli with a tomato cream sauce) and dessert (panna cotta "pie") were very good. The service was OK, though as I was to find out, you don't get the best service in Italy as a single traveler, so looking back, this was one of the better places, but it always seems to take forever to get the bill. Overall, you could probably do better, but certainly also much worse.
