The charm of the place and of the hosts, the location, convenience and very personal attention (recommendations, explanations, the availability of Wi-Fi, breakfast in your room and access to the kitchen for that extra cup of coffee when you come in from where ever you've been - among so many other touches of consideration and caring) - all of these make QuodLibet an ideal place to stay, whether you are in Rome for business or pleasure. The provision of information (complete with maps and recommendations), the warmth of the hosts (both Augostino and Gianluca immediately give you the feeling that you are guests and not clients) are among the elements that make you comfortable immediately.LOVE IT!!!

I stayed at quod libet for one night in November. Agostino hosted me
very well, offering coffee, good advice on places to vist and
how to get there. When I got into the room, it was a blast: all new and
tidy, very calm with good atmosphere. I booked it again for one week in
February, this time with the whole family - great place, great service

Room Tip: Choose a room on the back- quieter

The location is very convenient to visit Vatican City, a few minutes away and very close to the Metro for the rest of the city. On arrival we were given a map and because we had only two days to explore the city, we were given a suggested schedule including food and ice-cream stops. This made our holiday for us as we're too busy for much advanced planning. We stayed in the new apartment across the hall from the original and it was just perfect for the two of us. The room was very large with a very high vaulted ceiling and window overlooking the tree-lined road below. It's new, clean and very well decorated with everything one needs including TV, mini bar fridge, cupboard with hangers, chest of drawers etc. The bathroom had a bath with overhead shower and a separate enclosed shower. Breakfast was served in our room which was a nice touch, the option of having in the kitchen was also a possibility which if we were staying longer would be a great place to meet the other guests. Overall it was a great choice and so much nicer than staying in a traditional hotel.

Room Tip: The new apartment is all I saw, but it was lovely and easily worth the price.

Gianluca et Augustino were perfect host, nice and helpful. Every thing was absolutely perfect, the room, the breakfast, the location. Gianluca gave us a map and showed us what to do and where to go for lunch or diner. All the visits are by walking distance.

We could not fault Quod Libet. Clean, fresh rooms, excellent location, very reasonably priced and the most impressive breakfast spread. To top it off though it is run by two fantastic gentlemen who were friendly, made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make our trip an enjoyable one. I will be recommending Quod Lidet to any of my friends or family who are planning a trip to Rome

My girlfriend and I stayed at Quodlibet for 4nts in November and were very pleased with the location, cleanliness, seasonally-themed decor and price.

Even more impressive was the in-room breakfast - basically, a huge continental breakfast that lasted us through til dinner! Also, we found Gianluca and Agostino to be excellent hosts and genuinely nice people, offering advice where required on visitor sites, restaurants and transport options in the city. They are both clearly very passionate about ensuring your stay is perfect and the little touches like lending us a European power adapter and remembering our favourites at breakfast went a long way!

I highly recommend Quodlibet as a good value, excellently located option for a short-stay in Rome.

A couple of slight points to note - admittedly the soundproofing in the B&B isn't the best, you can hear conversations taking place on the corridor. But then again, we had no problems sleeping and all the doors in the rooms are non-slammable which helps. It can be slightly confusing at first when trying to find Quodlibet - our advice is look out for the English language school and once inside, take the first door on the right before taking the lift to the 4th floor.

Enjoy!

Room Tip: "Summer room" is furthest away from main entrance
