“Great Location,Clean,Free Wifi”

We booked 2 rooms for our family of 5 based on reviews here on Tripadvisor. We requested for our rooms to face the inner courtyard and we got exactly that. Our room was nicely furnished with balcony and a recliner and the bathroom was very clean. And my sister really liked the design of the sink..however the faucet must be turned on slowly and keep the water running low because the water will spill everywhere if turned up higher.

We enjoyed the breakfast selection...it was a little more than continental. My dad especially like the made to order cappuccino.

I read about the first step of the stairs being very dangerous and I actually tripped on it once. But no biggie...the hotel has put yellow cautionary stickers there to remind you.

The location is only a 10 minute walk to the Termini Station where restaurants, shops are abundant. We took the train to the FCO Airport on the last day and it only took half an hour.

We tried the Chinese restaurant for dinner inside the hotel , which was also the breakfast area in the morning. It has only been open for a few months by a friendly Chinese lady who has been living in Rome for 30 years. I know there are so many delicious eateries in Rome but if you are craving some Chinese food, try the steamed fish and fried rice noodles ONLY.

Overall, the hotel was a great base for exploring and we would love to be back.

Note: If you compare 4 star hotels in Italy to international 4 star hotel chains, you may be disappointed. Here, it is the charm of the room decor, charm of the cobbled streets and excellent location that add up together to be 4 stars.

Room Tip: Request room facing the inner courtyard with balcony. The view is not great but it will be quieter.

We were staying 5 nights in September. Room was very clean, reception service friendly, room was little old stylish but we were not spending our Rome visit at the hotel Room.

We were wondering why there was none english tv- channell? No news chanell? Big minus was that, the wi-fi was not working in our room (only one or two minutes and then shut down).

The breakfast was also good with Fresh cappuzzino. Unfortunately no vegetables. Long hair Asian breakfast waiter was realy nice, she cook automatically good cappuccino with nice smile :))

I recommend this hotel for the basic city break. Go also to naples by bullet train in 1 hour and 10 minutes! Roma Termini is only 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel.

We had selected this hotel through the net. The good points: great quiet location, good buffet breakfast by european standards, very comfortable bed. On check in we were allocated room 305 although had all the facilities it was the size of a SHOE BOX not good when you are travelling with a large suitcase. After one night we did complain and were moved to a much better room that was much larger. The staff always helped when asked but were really quite disinterested. The room did not have a bedside clock or any access to satelite TV therefore no English speaking news. In all an average stay.

The check in was terrible. We carried our luggage to the 5th floor. No info re rooms. We were just dumped in.We did not know if the room was .Air con ..The breakfast was horrible for a 4 star-canned fruits and the scramble eggs judge for yourself. One can only give this hostel a 4 star because its close to train/metro and bus station.I will never recommend this hotel.

Dear Guest,

Many thanks for taking your time to review our Hotel. We are very disappointed to hear that you did not receive a warm welcome from our reception staff during the check-in. As you may read from other guests’ reviews, our staff is always available to offer a kind assistance and support to our guests and it is common practice for them to always offer a warm welcome to each individual guest.

Our bellboy service is available 24 hours at the reception to help carry the luggage to the guests’ room. We realise from your review that during your stay, you carried your own luggage although it may have been a moment where the bellboy was busy carrying the luggage for another guest. If you had waited a moment, or asked the reception staff to have your luggage brought to your room, this would have been easily arranged and wouldn’t have created this inconvenience for you during the check-in. There are, however, 2 very efficient lifts available, which carries passengers directly to the designated floor so that reaching the 5th floor shouldn’t be too much of a struggle.

With regards to the room information, there is a room directory which contains all the information regarding the hotel service, facilities and instructions over the use of different appliances such as the electronic room safe. If there is anything unclear, our guests can call the reception directly from the room and they would have arranged a member of staff to come and show you personally. It is really unfortunate that you did not make your difficulties clear to the staff and only report it after your stay. We are a 4 star hotel after all where we offer a service that aims to look after the well being of each individual guest. However, if we are unaware of your difficulties, we are not always able to intervene in time.

With regards to the hotel breakfast, we offer American hot buffet where we offer the classical continental selection, topped up with hot bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, hot toast and boiled eggs as the hotel variety. We have a very international clientele and it is often difficult to satisfy everyone’s taste. However, we aim to offer a large variety in order satisfy guests from all over the world and constantly aim to improve and adapt to the needs of our guests.

We are grateful that you appreciate the central location of our hotel but we guarantee that it is not the fine location that makes us a 4 star hotel but the room service, facilities and most importantly our staff who work closely as a team to offer a high standard and quality for our guests.

We are sorry to hear that your experience at our hotel didn't live up to your expectations but we hope that in a future stay you will be able to appreciate the warm welcome that we offer our guests and the services offered from our staff. It is our priority to take care of your wellbeing and we hope you will be able to experience this care in a future stay.

This was a four day trip to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary. The hotel was part of a package deal from KLM but was a good choice. As we were arriving late in the evening and although the main station is only a few minutes walk from the hotel, this being our first trip we preferred to have transport to the hotel door so emailed the hotel if it could be arranged, they replied within the hour to say a private car would pick us up at the arrivals gate by name. It was a large, comfortable Mercedes saloon and we paid the driver directly.
As mentioned in previous reviews, the rooms are small, in real estate speak, bijou, but they were well decorated, had everything necessary except coffee/tea making facilities. Bathroom also well appointed it was just that two adults moving around the room required some careful coordination to avoid collisions.
Breakfast was good, would not recommend the restaurant for evening meals, we tried it on the last evening but it is predominately Chinese cuisine and we were not impressed.
Choose hop on hop off buses with care, the weather was not kind during our stay and some are more geared up for wet weather than others, choose one with at least a removable covering on the top deck. If you arrive unprepared for bad weather do not despair, umbrella sellers are on every street corner.
We enjoyed this hotel, service at the front desk was excellent, they even helped us to check in for our flights and print off our boarding cards. Would recommend it for its easy location to a large number of restaurants and the locality of the public transport system.

Room Tip: There is a possibility of another class of room, perhaps these offer a bit more space but it seems s...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights while in Italy. It is in a great location- about a 5 minute walk from Termini station (the main train station) and it only took us 30 minutes to walk from the Spanish Steps one night! The staff are very knowledgeable and recommended restaurants that they take their families too! They also recommended a great beach town for us to visit one hot afternoon- in Anzio. It cost us 7euro each way and was less than an hour on the train.

The rooms were quite lovely- there was air conditioning, which was a life saver in August and had a speedy elevator. The breakfast was nothing to write home about- we skipped it every morning after the first day. We opted for an espresso and croissant while walking through Rome, or before getting on a tour bus.

I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to have a comfortable, affordable, and convenient stay!

Room Tip: We were on the second floor and had a great view of the street and got to hear the violinist until a...

Just stayed here for 5 nights in a triple room with my parents. The rooms aren't exactly huge but then there was 3 of us in the room. The 3rd bed was a pull out sofa bed.
The bathroom was nice but the shower is on a low attachment so you have to sit in the bath to shower. The sink was gold and modern. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom, Toiletries provided. Towels changed every day & rooms made up every morning.

The best thing about this hotel was its GREAT LOCATION. Literally about 200 metres away down one road to the Termini rail station. From here you can take the metro all around the city. Particularly to the Colosseum, on the blue line, only 2 stops away for euro 1.50 per person.
Much easier then the bus service as we waited an hour for a VERY crowded bus! Tickets for buses & metros can be bought from any small shop or inside the train station.
The hotel is a very short walk, along any street, to lots of Al fresco restaurants that are very good value. E.g Euros 8 or 9 per person for a main meal. I would recommend getting carafs of wine rather then bottles as it is cheaper

The breakfast was ample. There was a choice of meats, cheeses, bread, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, sausages, eggs & bacon and lots of tea, coffee and fruit juices.

If I go back to Rome I will definitely be staying here again based on it's location.
