Friendly service, great food and sound advice with the wine list. The first time we arrived there was a singer/guitarist serenading what may have been a coach tour. The waiters joked with our sons and ensured we had such an excellent dinner, we returned 3 weeks later for another feast.

We just finished an amazing meal at this fantastic resturant. We got a reccomenation at out hotel which was very close to it! This is no tourist trap, in fact everyone aside from us were locals. We had the antipasti, the fatucchini poricini, rissoto di scampi and finished with a wonderful tiramisu: everything was delicious! Aside we had a bottle of water and the white wine of the house which was a perfect addition. Everything including an espresso was 52 euros and was worth each and every one of them!
Beside the great food, the service was excelent. We chose to share the dishes and it was served from the dish straight to our individual plates by the waiter. The stuff was very nice and the atmosphere great, either for couples or friends.
The bread was 2 euros per person and we chose not to have it, good call cause the meal was very filling!
When we were about to leave we found out the owner of the place was one of our waiters and a very young man... This place should be full and packed! This is the real deal for a great genuine italian meal.

Me and three girlfriends were out walking near our hotel searching for a place to eat; I had previously downloaded the trip advisor app and used it to assist in the search. We ended up at this restaurant and were not disappointed in the least! As we walked in we heard a gentleman singing in the back of the restaurant, I swear I felt like we were taken back in time! We ordered the house red wine, it was delicious. Also ordered antipasta as well as the bruschetta, all was amazing. I had the pasta carbonara and it was hands down the best I've ever eaten. My friends ordered ravioli, another pasta dish with tomatoes, and a mushroom lasagna. The lasagna was on special and absolutely wonderful! We finished the night up with the lemon cake, tiramisu and tarfuti, all equally delicious.

Our server was Sergio who made the whole experience one that we will never forget. We felt like a guest in his home, not in a restaurant, he was very welcoming and assisted us with any questions we had about the menu, wine, etc. It was our last night in Rome and this meal and service was the perfect ending to a great week. We all would strongly recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

We found this restaurant as it was listed in the DK guide to Rome and it was just around the corner from where we were staying. The staff were very welcoming and were quick to point out the specials. We opted for the mixed anti pasti and had a basket of bread placed on the table. Do not be fooled, this bread is charged for and is not complimentary. The anti pasti had a good selection of cheese, meat and vegetables and was more than enough for two to share. For the mains my husband opted for something off the specials and I asked for a carbonara, however we both ended up with the same, not sure is this was down to the language barrier or not. The pasta dishes were very tasty though and both plates were clean by the end. For desert we had a tiramisu and a lemon sorbet. Tiramisu was great but the sorbet was a bit on the watery side. We had a much better meal the previous night just around the corner - lesson learnt trust instinct when looking and not travel guides!

We stumbled across this little restaurant, one lunchtime, on the Fountains tour suggested by Trip Advisor. It was immediately apparent that this was a good find because there was a family table of at least 20 locals enjoying a celebratory meal. We weren't disappointed- my husband had pasta with Boar sauce, which he said was the richest, most flavoursome pasta dish that he had ever eaten. I had the spaghetti with bacon and pecorina cheese. It was amazing and the accompanying half bottle of wine was also delicious. It was so good we had every intention of going back for dinner but, unfortunately, it was quite a walk from our hotel and after long days walking, it was too far to contemplate returning on the evening. If you go to Rome, this lovely establishment is well worth a visit.
