We stayed in Rome for one night before a cruise and found excellent apartments for 10 of us. We rented through vrbo.com number 246182 - all four apartments. They were in a great spot right by the Piazza Nuvona and the Pantheon. We arranged for a drive from the airport to the apartments and then to the port the next day. The owner was more than accomodating and the prices were great. We had a great restaurant recommendation as well. I strongly recommend staying here - right in the heart of the attractions. Not far from the Vatican and an inexpensive cab ride at night to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.

Don't be put off by the unassuming entrance to this hotel! The location is great for a city break - close to the Termini station (2 mins) and walking distance to most of the main sights. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Asia room, very big and had a balcony, for 3 nights and would highly recommend it. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff very friendly. It is more like an upmarket hostel rather than a hotel, as we had a shared bathroom (very clean) and there's no bar/restaurant but it wouldn't put me off coming back again. Because their is no restaurant you get a voucher for the cafe accross the road for breakfast - what a fantastic way to start the day, mixing with the local's and doing as they do, drinking your caffe and eating your pastry standing at the counter!

My family and I along with my children's friends stayed at the Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi . This location could not have been any better. Located in front of the beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore church and walking distance to all the major sites. This is a beautiful hotel with a pretty court yard . The rooms a quite large for European hotels. The staff was very pleasant and spoke English . Stefano was always on top of things and a very pleasant man.
This is a 4 star hotel that offers 5 star service. If you have teenagers this is a great location . If you like to walk this is the place to stay.

We stayed here for five nights in a private romm with bathroom and it felt liked a hotel room. We had our own balcony, TV and the room was clean. Free breakfast was included at the nearby bars which was a nice perk. Staff was friendly and there wasn't too much noise from other rooms. Termini station was a short walk away and there are plenty of nice restaurants in the area a market nearby if you want to get some food or cheap clothing. We wished we had stayed here for our whole trip.

Positive: room, location
Negative: none that I can think of

It's a nice hotel with good position, it's near Termini station and you can walk to any touristic objective.
The only disavantage of this hotel is the fact that most of the rooms do not have bathroom inside:(but for short term holiday,it's not a really big problem:)

My wife and I recently stayed during May. The location is an easy walk from the Termni station. If is easy to access the Metro (buses and subway) from the Termni station. We also found it quite nice to go to the Conad on the lower level of the Termni station to purchse water/wine/soda/food etc. at resonable prices. Water is only .37 euro and if you by the same from a corner store it will be 2.00 to 2.50 euro. We found that we went throug alot of water when walking to many of the sights.

Back to the hotel....

We didn't have a bathroom in our room, but if wasn't a problem. The bathromm (WC) was located directly across the hallway. The bathroom was clean and met our expectations. The room was fine and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was also okay at the bar around the corner from the B&B. This is a basic B&B that suited our needs quite nicely.

Let me know if you have any questions.

We stayed in this new and nicely decorated B&B for three nights. We had opted for one of the three rooms which have ensuite bathrooms. The rooms have a nice size and are fitted with all mod coms, including AC and satellite TV. Our room also had a nice balcony.
The bathroom is perfect and has a nice shower. The reception was very friendly, they provided us with maps, breakfast coupons (to be exchanged for a nice Italian-style breakfast consisting of a sweet croissant and cappuccino in a bar just round the corner). Other services include free internet access.
If you are not looking for a romantic location the area near Termini where this B&B is located is just what you want as it is within walking distance of the (bus)station, underground etc.
All in all I would say it's a hidden gem with a good price-quality ration, that definitely deserves to be discovered!
