“Great hospitality.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2014

We chose the Pantheon Inn because of it's location and we were not disapointed - all the major things to see in Rome are within walking distance.
Located in an old building, the reception was on a different floor to our room which felt as if you were staying in an apartment rather than an hotel. The bedroom, bathroom and breakfast were all fine - no frills, clean and comfortable.
What really made our stay however, was the warm welcome on arrival and during our 3 night stay all the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. Will reccommend and would stay again ourselves for the location and excellent hospitality.

We visited the Pantheon in on the 17th of January for a weekend with my girlfriends (4 all together). At first I was scared with some of the reviews I read so I was pleasantly surprised. We did have an issue with our reservation but Roberto dealt with it prompty after talikng to him on the phone. We arranged to be picked up by a car from the airport for a fee of 70euros. Its 10euros more expensive than the cabs ouside the airport but it took us right outside the hotel and it was a pleasant ride with the driver pointing to the most popular momuments. We took the lift and we were greeted by Roberto and Michol. Michol showed us our room and helped us with our bags. Our room was 224. It was big enough for 4 people with 2 suitacases. We had 2 single beds and a double(made up by 2 singles). The bathroom was fine as well. Every morning we had a hearty breakfast so we could start the day. The breakfast included pastries, cereal, a variety of coffees, tost, jam and butter, cheese and meat platters, yogurts and fruits. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we thank Veruu for his directions when we wanted to go to the Vatican. The hotels position is perfect!!!! Literally 2 mins walk from the Pantheon ( as you come out of the hotel on your left) and then everything else in a walking distance. The only problem was the Wi-Fi signal which was very weak or not existent on our floor. They did try to rectified it on the day but it wasn't working and they said that they called a technician. We were getting good signal when we were having breakfast so it wasn't a big deal for us. On our way back to the airport, we got a regular cab from right outside from the hotel and we paid 48euros. We would definately go back!! We had a great time!! :-)

If you need to access WIFI from your room and require reliable airconditioning, I would suggest looking elsewhere. We had to check out early due to this and staff made it very difficult for us and still wanted to charge us for 2 nights we could not stay there due to these issues. Personally would not recommend. There are other hotels same price in same area which are infinitely better in our opinion

This hotel might be difficult to find even if your taxi driver drops you off right outside the gate. Just a little sign next to the gate tells you that this is the place. When you pass through the gate, you have to take the lift to 2nd (?) floor to find the reception, but nothing inside the lift tells you that. But when you finally find the reception you will get excellent service and you live in a unique hotel with perfect location for Romes atractions.

Room Tip: The hotel has one room with balcony. This is very nice, but close to the breakfast room so might be...

This hotel is very discrete (I got scared when I was dropped off at the entrance since I could not find the hotel) since it is inside an old building on the third or fourth floor. However, the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Hotel is nice, but don't count on using the building's elevator. WiFi and breakfast were included in the reservation. Breakfast is good (continental breakfast). Hotel is very well located, close to the Pantheon, which is a very touristy area with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Staff was very nice, polite, and helpful. When we left, they scheduled my transport to FCO for 50 Euros. Be careful in FCO, I got a shuttle ride that charged me 70 Euros (its a scam), so you may want to contact the hotel before your arrival to see if they can schedule transport for you. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: The hotel does not have very many rooms, so you don't get much of a choice. Avoid being close or...

Great location, just round from the Pantheon. Up on the second floor of an old building, the welcome from Veeru was very warm. He speaks excellent English. The room with a balcony was very pleasant. He contacted us ahead of time to arrange a car from the airport, at almost the same cost as a taxi, but without the hassle. The continental breakfast was basic, but overall a really good find. Would definitely go back.

We couldn't have been happier with our choice of hotel, a very warm welcome from the staff which lasted throughout our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything you need as most of the time we were out exploring this beautiful city.
Location is superb and we walked to all the major tourist areas with ease, plenty of restaurants nearby with quality food and wine at reasonable prices (especially if you don't eat in the squares but just go five mins down the side streets).
Overall our stay in Rome was to lovely and we can't wait to come back and yes we would stay at the Pantheon Inn again.

Room Tip: This is an old property with a lot of stairs which makes it very characterful, therefore every room...
