Description: Those looking for a restaurant in St. Peter, in Arlù will find a pleasant and familiar atmosphere where you can taste lunches and dinners made with natural ingredients, with an excellent balance between quality and price. From over fifty years we welcome tourists and lovers of good food in an unpretentious atmosphere, furnished with style and elegance. In the kitchen we favor seasonal raw materials and this guarantees freshness and digestibility to our dishes, from meat to fish passing through appetizers and desserts. Maximum attention is paid to the preparation of homemade biscuits, bread, cakes and pasta. To all this is added the kindness of a harmonious staff, composed of the members of a family that for a generarions has been handed down the craft of the restaurateur. Traditional cuisine and Mediterranean atmosphere, but also warmth and affection worthy of the italian culture. We are open for lunch and dinner. Choose the comfort and the charm of a restaurant a few steps from St. Peter. See you there!

“Delicious, fresh ingredients, and reasonably priced”

Arlú was fantastic. It was small and cozy, with space to seat about 15-20 people inside. The food was absolutely delicious, the ingredients tasted very fresh, and everything was moderately priced. We started with the bruschetta, which was perfectly grilled bread with very tasty, ripe tomatoes, and fresh herbs. It was very simple, and very tasty. I had the lasagna, and it might have been the best lasagna I've ever had. For dessert, we had the panna cotta and the streudel, and both were excellent as well. I would definitely recommend Arlú!

“Good but very touristy ”

Adorable little lunch place with a wonderful maitre'd. The food was good but not outstanding. The place was full of tourists not a word of Italian spoken but it did seem to be a discerning crowd.

“Expected more”

Had read great reviews but it turned out average. Most places in Rome have lovely decor this place lacked in ambience. Our pizza was dry and a bit burnt. The ravioli was tasty but over priced and less quantity.

“Foodie Heaven!”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

Saying the food was good would be THE understatement of the year. The food was soooooo dang amazing! The restaurant itself is very nice and offered some of the best and friendliest service we had the pleasure of receiving during our vacation. My friend and I hit up recommendations from Trip Advisor on her phone while leaving the Vatican. If any doubts were had about eating at Arlu, they were certainly dispelled by the number of priests present who were also dining and enjoying themselves. The sight left me feeling simultaneously confident in the choice and like a heathen.

Despite bustling with a hectic lunch crowd, the staff quickly and easily made a spot for us and made us feel quite welcome. We loved the set up outside under the umbrellas taking in the flow of activity from street vendors and passersby. The place had a wonderful combination of great service, excellent food, charming atmosphere and excellent wine. I'm not an expert on Roman cuisine but I am a hard core foodie and know what tastes good. The spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti amatriciana were like finding the holy grail. I couldn't find another restaurant that even came close to tasting as good as what we tasted at Arlu. We were trying our best to make it back for another lunch but had a cooking class the following day and couldn't manage to squeeze in another visit before we left for Positano. I am deeply regretting that because I am missing the flavors of both dishes.
