“WORTH THE DETOUR”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

Great food , clean , fast and efficient service. Not a tourist trap ! People who work in the neighborhood come here to lunch. Large selection of wines but even the house-wine is good. They even speak two words of English. :-) and are not expensive. There is no view or terrace but that is not negative.

“Great”
Reviewed September 22, 2012 via mobile

Very delicious stop for Rome travelers. It is not a touristic place, so it is possible to find local tastes for local prices. Other places are terrible for price/performance index.

“one of the few authentic Roman eatery”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

Wondering the street of downtown Rome you may find yourself lost among the many AUTHENTIC ROMAN osterias............a tourist trap.
Been there done that....In this economy, if you want to eat out then look for quality and convenience.......I hate these false authentic restaurants......food is common and tasteless and probably prepared a couple of days before.
In this Maze, you can still find few places like Enoteca Corsi......Enoteca means winery, but the concept is that of a typical local eatery: simple menu but great quality.....all expressed cooked no frozen food.
Staff very accommodating.
Compared to a couple of years ago prices have gone up but the quality is still there.
So when in Rome enjoy this place.

“Great place for lunch!”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

We ate here twice during our stay in Rome, and they were our favourite meals the entire trip. If you're looking for an authentic Italian home-cooked meal, this is the place. The meals are fresh and simple and delicious. It is only opened for lunch and the menu changes daily. The place is filled with locals, which is always a good sign. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. We will definitely return during our next trip to Rome.
