This was a great find off the beaten path. The lasagne, pastas and wine selection were great and very well priced. Good, attentive staff and nice atmosphere.

After a disasterous dining experience on our first night in Rome, hotel staff recommended Mario's. What a delight! Staff were attentive, humourous and knowledgable. Service was great and food delicious. Highly recommend it

We stumbled upon the restaurant walking back to our hotel from the Colosseum and we were glad we did. The arrabiatta was wonderfully spiced and the entire experience was great as our last meal in Rome. They seemed to have more of the type of food I expected of Rome as they were more generous with their spicing of the meals making them more flavorable.

Just had dinner at Mario's. Honest dishes that taste great. Good service of hard working staff. Pollo alla diavolo is worth a detour :) We will be back.
