We came to this B&B based on excellent reviews from Trip Advisor. Paolo met us at the apt. after arranging for a van to pick up our group of 5 from the Rome Airport - great price on the van/taxi also.

The B&B had 3 rooms in a large apt with a shared kitchen, in an large residence/apartment type setting. It was brightly painted, modern amenities, a cute kitchen, stocked refrigerator for our breakfast, etc. Paolo was so welcomnig and fiendly, it made us feel like we had family in Rome. He gave us excellent recommendations for areas to dine & we loved the restaurants he recommended, that were within walking distance. He gave us maps with all kinds of helpful instructions for our first time in Rome.

It was amazing to sleep in a very comfy bed, and have the breeze flowing through terrace windows, to quiet streets below. The supermarket and the subway are one block away.
The streets were safe, and the B&B was quiet enough to take an afternoon siesta - like the Italian's do.

We will definitely come back!

I have been travelling a lot in Rome for the past 5 years, and I went around quite few hotels, but ever since I discovered the Arches, I discover my new home away from home, I love the furniture and the colours of the rooms, the place is extremely clean and tidy, I have been there once with my partner because we were celebrating his b-day and those amazing guys, delivered me a cake, and a btl of champagne, what else I could have asked for. Thanks Paolo, Massimo and Fabio. See you on my next trip In my home away from home.

A friend suggested Arches Inn for my staying...and he was definetely right!
Our room (the yellow one) was well fursnished, nice and clean! The bathroom was nice with a great shower! From the window we enjoyed a nice view of the San Peter Dome (especially at nioght)
The common area is comfortable and fully furnished.
Arches Inn is also perfectly located: close to the vatican(10 minutes walking ), but in a quiet and nice residential area, 100 meters from the Cipro Metro and very well connected to the bus network as well. Paolo, the host, was always available throughout our stay, and was very helpful with restaurant/bar advice. I would definitely recomend Arches Inn to everyone!
Excellent place, well-managed and very clean B&B, where hosts speak a perfect English!

Arches Inn was rally great for all. We originally saw the other property of Arches Relais, but Massimo (our host) offered us the same accomodation (a triple) at the newest B&B, Arches Inn, in the same area of Arches B&B.
He assured us this place was newer and nicer than the other one and sent us all the information through email and text. The common area is painted bright yellow, clean and comfortable, with all the necessary staff, and a 24hrs free computer with internet for guests use (with free wireless connectionavailable, too).
Our room (the green one) was well fursnished, cosy and very clean! The bathroom was excellent, great shower, and very spacious! The balcony was nice, with an enjoyable view of the San Peter Dome from the right side.
He explained how everything works and our assigned spaces in the common area.
The inn is also strategically located (as Massimo told us!): located 10 minute walking to the vatican, nice and quiet residential area, 2 minutes from the Cipro Metro (jsut 100 meters!) and very well connected to the bus network as well. Massimo was great as host and made himself always available throughout our stay, and was very helpful with restaurant/bar advice. I would definitely stay again at Arches Inn if back in Rome and have already recommended it to my friens.
Excellent place, well-managed and very clean B&B! Massimo speaks a good Spanish too, which was a plus for let feeling us as at our own home!

We spent 4 nights in Arches B&B during the Rome marathon and it was a very good experience.
The guys taking care of the location speak English very well, which may be not so often in Italy. They were very helpful with info and tips about what to do in Rome, with great input on places to eat really good food in not so "touristic" restaurants.
The apartment brings you closer to the feeling of being in Italy than a regular hotel, it is located quite close to Vatican, less than 10 min from the metro station.
As we knew we were not going to a 5star hotel and set our expectations accordingly, we were very satisfied with the experience. Just as promised

other: free internet (wifi). good travel books on the bookshelves

Arhches Inn was great in every sense. We originally booked the other property, but Paolo (our host) called a few minutes later to inform us that the room was no longer available. Instead, he offered us the same accomodations (a triple) at the newest inn, 100 meters from the one we booked. He was so courteous and nice over the phone, we agreed without even looking at pictures. He assured us this place was newer and nicer than the other one and sent us all the new information through email and text. Since we had booked literally a day before arriving in Rome, we decided to go for it! And we were very glad we did, the inn surely didn't dissapoint! The living room space is painted bright yellow, clean and comfortable, with just the necessary furniture, and a free computer with internet for the use of the guests. Our room was very simple but well fursnished and above all, very clean! The bathroom was excellent, great shower, spacious and again...super clean! He explained how everything worked, our assigned space in the refrigerator, and the guidelines for a B&B. The inn is located within a 15-20 minute walk to the vatican, nice and quiet residential area, 5 minutes from the Cipro train station and very well connected to the bus network as well. Paolo is an excellent host and made himself available throughout our stay, and was very helpful with restaurant/bar recommendations and directions. I would definitely stay at Arches Inn if I am ever back in Rome and have already recommended to my fellow colleagues. Excellent place for people that prefer the cozyness and easygoing style of B&Bs or just young professional like us that want to experience Rome in a budget. This is no hostel! It's a well-managed, super clean B&B, with one of the best hosts I've met! Paolo speaks perfect English as well which is a great plus!

We stayed in the Green Room and we really liked it! There is everything you can need.
The bathroom is really big and the spacious shower very confortable and relaxing with its color therapy light! The room also has balcony whith a nice view of the San Peter Dome from the left side (very amazing at the sunset and in the evening). Since we have been there in sunny days, we have also the chance to appreciate the balcony both for the breakfast and for a coffe in the afternoon,
so nice!
I found useful to have WiFi connection 24 hours available for free.
I also liked the free buffet they prepare for breakfast, so you can wake up whenever you want, and also have something during the day, if you need (the kitchen is fully equiped and 24 hrs available for guests).
The location is also perfect for visiting the city, being close to the Vatican Museums & S.Peter (10 minute walking) and just 100 meter far from to the metro station Cipro.
The sorrounding area is aslo full of restaurants and pubs.
Since my spoken english is not so good, I also found very usefull to can speak portuguese with Arches Staff, I think in this way we avoided misunderstandings.
I definitely recomend Arches Inn, and thanks again to Fabio Paulo and Massimo, they were very nice and friendly, giving us lots of useful advices!
