Spent 4 nights here and can't fault the hotel. Excellent value for money in a very accessible. Helpful and friendly staff always had a smile for you.
Room was very clean and soundproofed. Tea and coffee provided as well as mini bar/fridge sat tv as well.
Would happily recommend.

Initially I booked the suite as this trip was for a special occasion. I was disappointed to be told 1 wk before my arrival that the jacuzzi had been removed from the room, when booking the room it also had three floors. On arrival it had two! However I was refunded half of my money for this which softened the blow!

So..
Location - great! Close to buses, metro and walking distance to all major attractions apart from the Vatican. Although we walked it! Plenty of restaurants nearby and an Irish pub 2 minutes away with live music

Room- despite the initial disappointment the room was clean and spacious. Maid everyday and quiet!

Breakfast- I would describe as typical European. Fresh rolls, croissants, cereals, cakes, boiled eggs, cut meats and biscuits. Find for the four days we stayed. Beware the angry breakfast lady that slams everything in sight.. Not good on a hangover!

Service- all staff really friendly and helpful, talking us through buses we needed and where the best places to go were

General Rome - colosseum and forum - do the 25 euro tour that covers both. I'm not usually one for tours but there is no information there so it's really interesting!
Trevi fountain - make sure you go at night!
Vatican museum - arrived early to avoid huge queues
St Peters - amazing and make sure you go to the cupola but take the elevator! You will never spend a better 2 extra euros!!! There is still a brutal walk after you get out if the elevator! Go on a sunny day!
Spanish steps - don't bother, they really are just steps!

Enjoy!!

We stayed at Hotel Opera this January, for a city break.
The rooms are very clean and well kept up.
Every member of the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Also it's location is very good - we found it very easy to visit the major sites nearby by foot.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we would return.

We stayed 6 days in Late November in This wonderful hotel once again. this was our 5th stay here and we again we not disappointed. Rooms and public spaces continue to be super clean and well kept up. The staff (Riza, Letu, Angela, Eta, and Sylvia) are all friendly, helpful and treat guests like a part of their family. This is our pre and post cruise hotel. Very near all transportation and an easy walk to all attractions or the metro /bus for Vatican. Breakfast is very filling and ample! Wifi is excellent in room (on upgrade has been implemented since the previous year stay). This is one of our favorite hotels in Europe!

Room Tip: we love our balcony room since you can listen to the practice sessions of the opera in the afternoon...

nothing to complain about!

We went to the hotel early in the morning to drop off our bags & stuffs. The staff let us check in early and upgraded our room to a superior room without an extra charge.

Room is very nice & clean and equiped with all the basic needs. The most remarkable thing is the free buffet breakfast. They were too nice to be free... full of choices, different types of breads, ham, eggs, yogurt n cereals etc... & made to order coffee n drinks.... saves us hassle to think abt what to eat in each morning....

The hotel location is very good too.... only few mins walk from termini :D

I found a great deal on the internet for this small hotel. It is only 4 years old, has about 15 rooms and is less than 10 minutes walk from the Termini station so is well located. Helpful staff who assisted in booking tickets for the Vatican on arrival. Modern rooms, good breakfast. Safe in the room although could leave valuables and luggage with the hotel on the last day. Spent 2 nights here at the end of a cruise which finished in Civitavecchia.

Chose this hotel by the reviews on Tripadvisor. Overall it is a pleasant hotel, clean, good value in a good location.
The positives: location - close to the main train station (5 mins walk) and is also walking distance to all the major sites (Colosseum - 10 mins, Trevi fountain - 10 mins, Spanish steps - 15 mins, Vatican - 25 mins, Pantheon, Piazza Navona - 15 mins), free Wifi, clean hotel, comfy beds.
The not so positives: the breakfast buffet is not replenished (breakfast is 7-10am, if you go after 9am, you will hardly find anything left, no cheeses, no cold cuts etc.) All stuff at the hotel were very polite except for the breakfast lady one morning who was actually pretty rude when we dared asking her to refill the things that were gone. It was also a bit strange that the cleaning lady was smoking on the corridor (she did a very good job though keeping the rooms clean:) The heating didn't work in one of the rooms we stayed at, but it got fixed after we asked for it)

Overall, this is a great little hotel, good choice if you can get it for a good rate.

Room Tip: Some rooms have marble floors, which can be inconvenient in the winter (take your slippers with you)
