A long walk in and out, particularly if your in orange sector. You have walk around the whole stadium to enter and leave. Taxis are a non starter. The seats are small, low and narrow. Not made for sitting in. That is probably why football fans stand up so much. The atmosphere for the 6 Nations v England was superb. Better than Millennium or Murrayfield.

Located in beautiful park, this classic, yet modern stadium is one of the "meccas" of football. My sons and I watched the match Roma X Internazionale on Mar 1.
You get there 15 mins prior to the game, there's no trouble to get in, seat and enjoy "the opera".
Safe place, respectful audience.
Bad remark: public transportation is poor and there's no taxis around, especially in the evening, so pls make sure to book some taxi to pick you up after the match (it seems to be a trademark at Europe's major stadiums).

The Olympic Stadium of Rome in this great arena to play using the two city teams, Roma and Lazio.
The stadium is beautiful outside but what I prefer is the area around it, a sports venue with pool, statues and so much to athletics in general.
The interior of the stadium is not that great, I've seen a lot a long time ago and because of the athletics track around the field of view of the game is almost reduced short, you can not see the game well.
All in all, getting inside and see all those people in approximately 50,000 full stadium makes a nice effect.

Was here for the Scotland v Italy rugby game. This is a nice stadium, however there are a few annoyances. Firstly the seat numbers on the tickets were a little confusing not helped by the Scottish Rugby Union providing us with two tickets that were not together, literally one in the South and the other in the North! - Well done the Scottish Rugby Union, little wonder we don't do too well on the pitch. Oh I forgot to mention that the seat and row numbers were consecutive, but this is useless when they are not in the same block! Fortunately a fellow countryman had a spare seat in the vicinity!

The other issue is public transport to get you back to town, the Stadium is some distance out. There is no metro close by and there were no additional buses to cope with the crowds. The roads outside the ground are very congested which causes problems for buses getting there and away. Your best bet is a taxi ... and there appear to be many of them floating around comfortable with taking you back in to town but not anywhere else.

Came here for Scotland v. Italy rugby game. Our seats were quite high and could see everything, but the stadium was nice. Had enough room. Need to request toilet seats in the ladies room. That would facilitate more women drinking beer. The after party was lively and had food and drink.
