We were very excited to go to the match and the price per ticket was average(there is a discount for women). But, after a long cab ride there we went to the wrong entrance, (not the greatest signs) and then proceeded to the bathroom. I was used to the no toilet seat thing already, but not even dispensers for toilet paper (in womens bathroom) Not sure what that is about. I am glad I had some tissues in my pocket.
However, after a nice win, it took us more than 2 hours to get home. There were a line of cabs that were "not in service" and no signs telling us anything. Also, the metro closes and if you don't get on the correct bus, you are in trouble. Caution: don't ask the locals...they sent us in the wrong direction. We ended up finally getting on a bus to Termini and making our way after that.

We saw a game on a Monday night - it was definitely worthwhile (although not cheap). The stadium is large and so wasn't full, which detracted from the atmosphere slightly, although many of the home fans were packed behind one of the goals and were singing, flag waving and setting off flares. The game was of a good standard - Roma won 1-0 and there was lots of action.
I wouldn't visit the stadium without a game being on, but recommend catching some Serie A action!

Beautiful stadium!! and the game was incredible... i enjoyed it a lot. However, outside the stadium it was really dirty, lots of papers on the streets and surroundings. The seats were confortable. And Lazio won!

Watched the Italy v England rugby here. Very impressed with stadium which had easy access and despite being a 'running track' stadium had good loud atmosphere. However what makes it different is tghe surrounds with the 1930 Olympic complex built under Mussolini. Weather meant it was a flying look around but was interesting.
Caution - transport getting away after match was chaotic and I don't think this was just down to weather !

Good stadium, cracking atmosphere but i think only because it was a clash between the top two teams. still worth going if you enjoy sports, obviously football.
