“Best pizza ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

My husband likes pizza. I mean, he REALLY likes pizza. Every time we visit a new destination in the States, he checks out the top 10 pizza places and we have to try at least a couple of them. That being said, the pizza margherita at Pizzeria Ai Marmi was the best pizza we have ever had! The mushroom and sausage pizza was a close second. There is usually a line outside (which really tells you something about a pizza place in a town full of pizza places), but it is well worth the wait. Bruschetta was fabulous, too. After your dinner, walk off some of those calories by strolling through the charming Trestevere neighborhood.

“The one and only Pizza. Period.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013

This is the only place that makes Pizza the way it was created. Anything else should not be called pizza, sorry Papa Johns and Dominos but making something round and throwing some tomato on it does not entitle you to call it pizza.

You need to come early in the evening or it gets though, I'm not the only one that thinks this is the best pizza so you'll find a humongous line...

I wonder if they'll ever gonna take on the pizzeria next to them to expand, that would be a really awesome result.

The suppli (fried rice balls with mozzarella inside) are different than what you'll find any other place, they are more dry on the outside and crunchy, like al dente. I like them a lot, but I like the other style too (they are softer).

Prices have gone up and definitely guys stop increasing them!!! the euro is hurting everyone!

The rest of the fried dishes are awesome, and if you're into Pasta e Fagioli is pretty good too.

I basically go there for the pizza and supply, but the rest of the stuff is excellent too.

Service is busy, they're always nice but sometimes they get overly tired and you can feel it.

“Simple pizza with kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2013

We were exhausted from walking in Rome with children; we just wanted a delicious pizza in a simple place. Ai Marmi is all of that, really fast but lot of choice and yummy. Just waht we needed!

“An experience!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

This was recommended to us by someone who lives in the area. It is an experience! Crowded, lively and noisy but fun. We have four boys ages 17, 14, 12 and 9. We ate 5 pizzas for 51 euros. The best one was the sausage and mushroom - very flavorful. My zucchini one was fine. It was a good meal and im glad we went once.
