We found this place occasionaly on the way to Coloseo. It was really the only restaurant which was seen, so with out choice decide to try (actually it was 14:30 and we were not sure that we will have any food).

And to tell the trueth it became one of the best places we were at.

Very tasty food, cute domestic atmosphere inside, family attitude... everything is beyond compare!
Thanks a lot!!!!!!! And take care! We will see you soon!

Myself and my mother had dinner here in September. It is a charming family run restaurant and we had fun looking at all the historic family in situe pictures hanging on the walls - working out who was who in the restaurant - you can see the same people in the pictures from the 1970's and they are still working there today! Fantastic.

We both sat indoors and had main courses. I had a Spaghetti Arrabiata and it was lovely. The pasta was cooked 'al dente' and the sauce was rich and just hot enough for a kick. We had a glass of wine each which was poured from a bottle left on our table, though we stuck to one good glass each we were only charged for a 1/4 bottle. This is just the place to recapture traditional Italian cooking without the fuss, noise and arty trappings found in most other newer establishments around. I recommend it for a lovely low key, satisfying, evening meal.

We're in Italy and the pasta isn't cooked and I don't mean al dente! There was a road drain next to our table, to be fair eating al fresco does involve getting closer to the street and the owner did place a sheet of newspaper over it which suppressed the smell. However a group of six arrived as we were eating and the owner asked if we would move (mid forkful), we just finished up and left.
