“Good food, a bit expensive”
Reviewed July 3, 2013 via mobile

Maybe we are Asian , we really don't like their famous Alfredo's . However, all the other food, from starter , pasta to main course, dessert are excellent! Yes, a bit over priced, because they charged 15?for service charge. Yes, service was so so, they are not friendly, but not bad...

“Food good. Service less so.”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

Restaurant was recommend by our hotel. The food was actually quite good including the Fettucine Alfredo. A little expensive for what you get but tasty. It is the service that downgraded the experience. True, we do not speak mch Italian but this seemed not to be a problem in any other restaurant we visited. Our waiter was disinterested at best and even dismissive. The restaurant is quite large but there were hardly any people in it so the atmosphere was a little dead. We did witness another watier who was very entertaining and attentive to a family with two young and tired children; so, maybe our experience was atypical. So, If we ignore the service and atmosphere, our meals were very good. They certainly know how to prepare an excellent dish.

“Not that bad”
Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Some of the negative reviews are a bit unfair. It is easy to confuse efficiency with arrogance and much depends on an effective interaction between staff and customer. A smile and politeness on the part of the cistomer dissolves the veneer. Antonio, our waiter, warmed to us and was charming. It is true that the food is not exceptional but it errs on the side of good rather than fair. Not cheap but not the worst. The wine is in fact good value, a fine Barbera d'Asti coming in at a reasonable 24 Euros. Overall a pleasant experience.

“Avoid avoid avoid!”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

Unfortunately this restaurant was recommended to us by the staff in hotel. The menu is average and is ridiculously overpriced, not to mention the crazy cover charge and 12% service charge, which they managed to "mistakenly" overcharge on until we questioned it. There is no value in dining at this establishmnet-the food wasnt even that good! This restaurant is a major tourist trap and banks on its popularity from days gone by. There are so many other amazing places in dine in Rome for a fraction of the cost. Save yourself the pain and hunt out one of the better restaurants in Rome.
