“Personal Care is the difference”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

I visited Rome in May and as usual I stayed with Simonetta. The single room in her B and B was comfortable and affordable. In addition to her great breakfast, she offers great advice on all of Rome's attractions and stays current on any exhibits or special events. I travel to Italy a lot and I haven't not experienced more personal care and a commitment to her guest anywhere esle in the country.

The Prati neighborhood, where she is located, is a real Roman neighborhood just north of the Vatican and within easy reach (walk, bus, subway) to the 'old city'. Also, try "Il Falcone" just up the street for lunch or dinner....'good food, good prices' .

Room Tip: The double room next to the courtyard is very spacious, comfortable and quiet.

it was our first overnight visit to Rome and Simonetta made us feel very welcome. the information in advance was really encouraging and assistance and advice really set us up for a wonderful trip. We found Simonetta's advice helped us to find wonderful places to go and excellent sights to see. The Villa Borghese will always remain in our minds. Thanks for your assistance Simonetta, much appreciated!

This was our first trip to Europe, so we don’t have a basis for comparison, but this B & B was just right for us. It has 4 bedrooms, sleeping 1-3 persons each, 3 bathrooms (one is in a bedroom), a small kitchen, a small eating room, and a charming patio. It is also about 1 block to the Metro (subway). Because we were a group of 5 adults, Simonetta did not fill the other beds and allowed us to use more space that we had booked. It was like having our own apartment, with a personal assistant to make/serve breakfast, and visit with us each morning. Simonetta (who lived in a separate apartment upstairs) was a kind and courteous hostess for our stay in her B & B, making us feel like we were visiting a friend, and anticipated many of our needs. A few of the examples of her thoughtfulness included:
• Before we arrived, she sent by email information about the tourist passes available, and she purchased these and added them to our bill.
• She arranged to have a car pick us up at the airport, and added this cost to our bill.
• She booked reservations for us prior to our arrival to the Borguisse Gallery when I mentioned we wanted to visit this attraction
• She checked by phone or email on availability of tickets immediately whenever we showed interest in her suggestions.
We didn't spend much time in the B&B, because we wanted to see as much of Rome as we could, but what time we spent there was great. We had internet access and no need for a pool or exercise space.

Within 1 block of the metro, Simonetta’s B&B provides a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the tourists downtown. Just a 10 minute walk from the Vatican you are in a neighborhood full of locals complete with a great neighborhood restaurant (Falcone’s) a block away. Pastries, gelato, pizza and several Italian delis are within a couple of blocks. The B&B is clean and full of personality. The proprietor, Simonetta, provides delicious Italian coffee in the morning along with pastries, fruit, cereal and more. The bedrooms were big, the bed was comfortable and there were plenty of outlets for recharging devices. We will definitely return.

Simonetta is very friendly and helpful and provides a lot of information on things to do, where to eat, where to drink good wines and where to get the best icecream.
The room is nice and has very good beds, the shower is good, but not very spacious. Breakfast is fine. The B&B has free wifi.
Located just opposite Cipro metrostation in a quiet street and close to the Vatican the B&B is very convenient for visiting Rome.

[Places]
3-4min walk from Cipro station (Roma Metro).
You can also go to "Vatican Museums" by walk.

If you are planning to see the Vatican, I recommend this B&B.
The location offers you a choice for getting rest during
Vatican sightseeing

[Ms. Simonetta]
Ms. Simonetta is so kind and helpful.
It was a fun to talk with her.

I've got e-mail with .pdf files about Roma information.
She also gave useful advices for restrant, nice places to see.

[rooms]
Rooms are enough clean to stay. Due to use of real home,
I could relax during the stay.

[breakfast]
Normally your breakfast was 8:30, but you can
ask for early breakfast.

We could have at 7:30 to avoid standing in a long line
for entering "Basilica di San Pietro in Vaticano".

Simonetta's B&B is the perfect place for the family with children visiting Rome. Close to the Vatican City it is actually close to everything in Rome. A few minutes walk to Metro A at Cipro you can get anywhere you like in short time. If you prefer walking it is half an hour to Trastevere as well as Pantheon.
Simonetta is a helpful person arranging whatever you want to do. It is not a luxury hotel - but great value for money!!!!
Breakfast included (a nice gesture when you have teenagerboys) with fresh fruits, coffe, bread...
She arranged pick-up from the airport and when we returned she had a driver staning by - at a very reasonable cost.
