The B-E-S-T coffee in rome.
We bought four cappucinos for 4.40?, it was incredible! Very close to a brilliant farmers market (campagne amica) where we bought cheese, jam, bread, wine, and biscotti for practicly nothing. Not your typicle tourist hot-spot, mostly locals which made it a true romen expirience! Do not miss out!!!! :)

Thank Noa L

“Exceptional Cappucino & try the Romanella pastry”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

Yes, you hear that Tazza D'Oro and San Eustachio are the best coffee purveyors in Rome, but the guy who serves the cappuchino at the Circo Massimo location of Cristalli di Zucchero makes the smoothest, best flavored coffee in town. I don't even have to put sugar in the cup since the coffee is without any trace of bitterness. The pastries are top quality and they offer both the classic Italian cornetto that is more of a yeast roll and a Parisian-style croissant that is crisper and flakier. The Romanella is crisp puff pastry filled with ricotta and mini chocolate chips. Try the apricot cinnamon gelato...

This place is an absolute GEM! Was looking for a decent pasticceria the whole time we were in Rome and finally came across this place while at the circus maximus. It has the largest, most delicious selection of decadent italian sweets that I have ever seen! If you come to rome and dont go here you are mad

“Delicious and that's never free..”

This is a great place to grab a quick shot of sugar - as the name says. They have delicious desserts and cakes but you have to be ready to dig deep into your pocket! Try their Profiteroles and Macarones!

“Delicious treats, hidden gem”
Reviewed July 17, 2011

We accidentally stumbled upon this little place while strolling around one afternoon and were so glad we found it. Perhaps a bit pretentious :) but they offer a wide selection of macarons, tarts, cakes, pastries and sandwiches, all very Parisian. Their gelato was delightful. It's kept under metal lids, which preserves the flavors. We ate one gelato in the store, then bought another for the road. It was the best I had on the whole trip, with the best, dense texture. Try the apricot with cinnamon, pistachio (a little bit salty, just like eating pistachios), chocolate (feels like a chocolate bar melted in your mouth), or lemon for a refreshing treat. Only downside is there is no seating.
