Boutique Hotel Trevi
Ranked #594 of 1,269 Hotels in Rome

Very good hotel - so convenient for all the sights. Had a great room on the 5th floor with a bath but no tea or coffee making facilities. When we arrived - late on a Friday there was some story about our room having no electricity so we were transferred at their expense to the Hotel Eliseor which was fine though a little far out. We returned to this hotel on the Sunday so had a split 4 night break in Rome which we still enjoyed. Breakfast at the Trevi was excellent and we enjoyed the little basement room - bear in mind this was February so not too crowded.

We stayed at the hotel the first week of February; the staff was very helpful and made you feel at home, anytime we needed anything, they were more than accommodating. The rooms are well appointed, clean and cozy. The hotel was in walking distance to all the sights, wonderful restaurants, we felt very safe. We will be back, thank you Boutique Hotel Trevi!

Boutique Hotel Trevi is a great place to stay in Rome. Next to Fontana di Trevi and walking distance to Colosseum,The Palatine, Phanteon. The room was very clean, and the employees were kind. I spent just 1 night there , and I did not have breakfast there. But definitely I would stay there again.

Stayed for three nights. The hotel is well decorated with a welcoming reception of the street. We had asked for an upgrade as it was our Pearl wedding anniversary and they gave us a superior room. Our room was on 4th floor facing the street. We had no complaints about it and so long as you keep the window closed there is no street noise. Bathroom was modern and had a shower above the bath. Breakfast was continental and had ample meats cheeses breads and fruit. The staff were always helpful. The location of the hotel meant that you could walk to ALL the tourists sites including the Pantheon, Spanish steps, Roman forum and Coliseum. the Vatican was a 30 mins walk and the Trevi fountain was just 50 metres away and you could hear it from the window. We would definitely a recommend this hotel and would stay again. Plenty of eating places within a short walk.

A 'proper' 4 star hotel in a great location! Lovely room, and well sound-proofed. When the window was open the street was a little noisy, but with window closed there was no noise whatsoever. Breakfast provided a very good selection of continental breakfast items. Would definately recommend this hotel!

This is a 3 star hotel and the fact that it is advertised as 4 stars is a scam. I do not recommend this hotel unless you are getting a price of 70 Euro a night or less and are willing to stay in a mediocre hotel. If you are expecting anything fancy, you will be sorely disappointed.

The hotel has a marketing gimmick which they milk for all it is worth, incorporating the name of a famous Rome landmark into the hotel. And the hotel is indeed located seconds from the famed fountain, but so what? There are dozens of hotels, many of them better, within minutes of Trevi fountain.

The service at the hotel is bad. One day the housekeeping only came to clean up at 5PM and I had to scream at them to get it done. Breakfast is served in a basement with no windows, which is not very pleasant. There is no hotel lobby, unless you call two easy chairs and a small coffee table a lobby. The first room they gave us was the size of a closet. They upgraded me to a junior suite, only after I paid a 100 Euro extra. For 130 Euro a night (which is what I paid), I expected a lot more.

Sleep quality was lousy and the beds are terrible. The mattress was as hard as a rock and they did not supply a blanket. The bedspread was the blanket. The room was quite hot (even though it is February) so we had to open the window. But then you get a lot of street noise since the party people are at it until the wee hours.

My advice: don't let the name of the hotel deceive you. Either get this hotel for a bargain price or look for other hotels that are more comfortable in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for a large room or a suite. The regular rooms are tiny and unsuitable for a couple.

We stayed for 4 days in January and were very pleased with our stay. The location is absolutely prefect, only three buildings from the Trvi Fountain and within walking distance of Pantheon, Coliseum, and Forum. The room was very clean and decorated in good taste, the service was excellent, the people were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with excellent service by two dedicated servers. We would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Rome.
