I do not know whether this place can be named a "hotel" as this consists of 5-6 rooms located on a 5th floor in regular building.

Anyway, this place is quiet and nice in a very good location - just in the middle between Coloseum, Roman Forum on the left and Fountain di Trevi, Spanish Steps and Piazza Venezia on the right and Piazza Navona in the middle. 5 minute walk from the Termini train station with direct connection to the airport. Another 5 minute walk to Via Nationale Street where a bus # 64 can take you to Vatican City and Basilica S.Pietro in 15 min.

Breakfast: cakes, fruits, yoghurt, cheese, ham, bread, juices and coffee/tee which you make by yourself. The whole breakfast takes place in a kitchen annex where you take juices and yoghurts directly from a fridge, or use kettle to make yourself a tee. A little bit crowd if all guests appear at the same time.

Rooms and bathroom (comfort, well equipped) were clean and had enough room.

Needs improvement: TV has only two channels (at least in my room) BBC news and euronews both repeating all the same things all the time. No Wi-Fi. I did not go to Rome to stare into the TV or surf the internet but I find it a little bit discomforting.

A great clean, modern and nicely decorated B&B close to Termini and Via Nazionale shopping. Nice cool air-conditioning for those hot August Rome days, along with the mini bar included! Great value for money! We would not hesitate to stay at this great little B&B again.

Great decor very modern with a traditional twist. Room was clean and accommodated the four of us easily. The temp beds the kids slept on were very comfortable as was ours. Bathroom big and clean and everything worked. Staff very helpful when ordering taxis. We had one night when we lost power in the room, no lights, TV. The response from a phone call to the staff who are not always present in the evening was prompt albeit the lights could not be restored that evening they were mended in the morning. Claudia the boss was very apologetic and compensated us to our satisfaction. The breakfast was adequate but would benefit from a conventional toaster for us Brits who like our toast!. Overall would stay again. Very central excellent location. Rather too hot in August!.

Claudia Guiudi manages this small B&B along with her assistant Antonio and two others. Located five minutes by foot from the Stazione Termini (Train Station) and three minutes from Saint Maggiore, this relatively quiet and safe area is an ideal spot for a B&B. The commuter train station, which is in the opposite direction from the Stazione Termini, is also just five minutes away.
Remodeled in 2007, the Relais La Maison is located on the fifth floor of a narrow building sandwiched between other buildings on a one lane road. After walking through a simple small wooden door on the street, you enter a large well illuminated hallway that leads to the central core of the building. This building is shared with another hotel and other businesses. Once you reach the last floor which is the fifth floor via the old elevator (which broke down all five days we were there), you can easily see the beautiful dark door of the Relais La Maison.
The interior is design in a modern European contemporary style. The colors are soft and very inviting both in the public and private spaces. The breakfast area is joined with the reception desk where the morning Italian breakfast is served (7:30-9:00 a.m.). Our room #502 faces a quiet street where street noise was not heard. Our bathroom was very large with a large shower/jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the hot shower water was not constant. The unique modern light fixtures surrounding the comfortable king size bed made sleeping a dream, but the roll out bed they provided is too small for an adult or a teenager.
Keep in mind, Relais La Maison is a B&B so there are no hotel services like laundry or daily linen/towel service. There are two self service laundry mats located two blocks from the Stazione Termini (one is better than the other).
At the time of this review, the failing elevator was being negotiated to be replaced by the tenants of the building. We do not know the outcome of their decision.
FYI: the rental cars from the Stazione Termini are not as good condition as the airport rental cars; you can make your own espresso drinks anytime of the day, but the espresso machine is located in the lobby so the noise runs across all the rooms;

This place is an absoluetly great find! My husband and I just came back from Rome, and spent 3 nights in this B&B. The rooms are spacious, super-clean and BEAUTIFUL! The decor is amazing and very luxurious. Th breakfast was awesome, and they also had an open fridge. The staff was very friendly. The location is central and 15 mins to the train station.

We stayed 3 nites at this B&B and it was quite lovely. The person who welcomed us was nice and provided us with some advices and tips to visit Rome. The room was great, clean, modern, cosy with a nice bathroom. The WiFi was available for free as well as drinks in a small fridge. The only regret is that, for 4 people, it was too small. The breaksfeast was a buffet … A bit light compared to other hotels but the food was good though (breakfast room is too small). All along the stay, the staff was nice and smiling.
An address I would most definitely recommend
