We have been two nights in this hotel in June. The hotel is overall pretty good, the personnel is extremely gentle and the room we had chosen was even too big for two people. Quality of breakfast could be a bit better but it's not a big issue. The plus is the vineyard, an almost magical place on the sea where you can feel isolated from the rest of the world while getting superb views of the gulf of Naples

We came to Procida to relax and enjoy a break without the kids. We chose this hotel because it was so highly recommended on Trip Advisor. We didn't choose the suite because we didn't like the idea of a jacuzzi in the bedroom, so we took the superior room. The room was nice and airy, just as their website shows. However, there is no view at all. The tv is tiny, and since we were there for the World Cup, my husband was not too happy, since he had to sit on the wobbly chair to see the ball. Also worth mentioning is that the fabric sofa in the room was full of unsightly stains but is the only place where you can sit down. The bed is upstairs on a mezzanine level, as shown on their website and the bed was very comfortable. Another tv upstairs would have been appreciated.

The shower room was my biggest problem. The shower leaked onto the the floor, so there was always a wet patch. The shower drain couldn't cope with the flow of water, so much so that after a few minutes I had to turn off the tap and wait for the water to drain. And one of the shower doors always fell off the rail every time I tried opening it. I told the receptionist about my problems on the second day, because at 150€ a night this was not acceptable. She said she would see to it, and all they did was remove the drain cover!!

The positives: the staff are very friendly. There is a good choice at breakfast. The vineyard and the view from the end of the garden is beautiful. It's a pity that breakfast is not served there.

First, so very glad that a friend recommended Procida as a destination, and thanks also to all you tripadvisor reviewers that helped me to choose this hotel. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were charmed by the location and situation and were made most welcome. We were too early to check in, but we made the most of the picturesque setting, wine and nibblies. Room 13 was a very nice room, well decorated, all the amenities. And for persons like myself who like to sleep in, it was beautifully dark. We had 4 nights at La Vigna, it was wonderful. After a hectic tour across Europe, catching up with friends and family, it was a welcome break in the pace, time to slow down and not only smell roses, but also eat pizza and pasta. The staff were fantastic, they quickly learnt to offer me the Coke Zero at breakfast, as is my little peculiarity. nothing was too much trouble. One memorable evening we took a bottle of wine to the end point of the garden, sitting reading, and looking at the ocean. There are lots of lovely little restaurants nearby. So beautiful. And oh yes, the breakfast was fabulous also. Didnt want to leave this morning, but the best places make you want to come back.

A most charming place run by the most charming people. This mini Summer Palace has a great view and is perfectly located within walking distance of the two key ports. We took their best room with jacuzzi and had a most relaxing time. Sadly we did not find time to try the unusual spa treatments on offer though. Breakfast was most delicious including freshly baked cake and home made jams. They also make their own wine. We tried the red but assume that their white will be better. Unfortunately on taking a towel off the wrought iron rack (see photo) it hooked onto towel and crashed down to crush my toe. I've asked them to bolt the yop-heavy object to the floor but beware of it as you may also leave limping and going for x-rays! At least the hosts were very helful with bandage and anti-inflammitory tabs on hand. They were exceptionally kind and helpful and made our stay very interesting and pleasant.

Room Tip: Our Jacuzzi room was great with wonderful view. Quiet and close to the lovely rooftop terrace.

this is a lovely hotel - we had a room that opened onto the terrace, which went down to a seat overlooking the sea. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. We had some trouble getting the air conditioning to heat the room, but they brought extra heaters for us and got the system working next day. Extensive buffet for breakfast with fresh fruit salad and cakes etc. Highly recommended - and we got it at a very good price because we were out of season (29/30 Dec 2013)

Greatest memory of our trip....full moon over the vineyard with the view of Naples!! We enjoyed our stay here immensely, higbly recommended. Only complaint is the wonky shower head needs to be replaced...my friend compared it to a sand blaster! And it had to be hand held, which makes it difficult. Other than that the room was spacious and comfy. Beautiful, atmospheric grounds and location.

Room Tip: Ours was loft style, so avoid that if you have a problem with stairs.

We just stayed at the lovely La Vigna in Procida and I would stay here again since most of the experience was highly enjoyable. The hotel offers some stunning views, a relaxing terrace area and a very good, high quality breakfast. The only downside was the shower. It was a difficult hand-held model with very temperamental water pressure that pretty much would serve best as a sand blaster; frustrating and troublesome! The tub could have used a thorough scrub as well. Other than that, great little spot for some R and R.
