We booked this hotel for a one night stay after a late night arriving flight into Naples. Check in was smooth, the room was clean and tidy (if a little dated, but that is obvious from the pictures seen before booking) and the bed comfortable with very effective AC. We were only using the hotel for a base for a visit to the ruins and Vesuvius before leaving later in the day, but the continental breakfast was sufficient, if not amazing, for the busy day ahead Check out was easy and the extremely polite staff kept our bags safe for the day.

The location is fairly central (10 minutes walk to the Scavi station and entrance to the ruins) but the walk was hot. However very few hotels are any nearer than this to the station and ruins so this is not a flaw! Overall a good experience that we would recommend for anyone not doing Pompeii in a day tour from anywhere else.

We arrived a the hotel without reservation and had a very nice welcome, free parking and a very nice room.
I guess that in season it is more crowded and noisy.
We had nothing to complain about. the owner was nice and friendly.

Room tip: The rooms in the back are quieter but how can you be in a very quiet place so close to the ruins?

we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on our recent trip to Italy. it is in a lovely location from which you can see mount Vesuvius and very close ( right on the doorstep) to the entrance to the Pompeii ruins. we were greeted by the lovely Helen who was very helpful and lovely. there was no pressure to pay for stay straight away. we had room number 1 which was lovely. Breakfast was absolutely great with so much choice. we would definitely recommend this hotel if anyone want to visit pompeii and we will definitely return.

The hotel is easily located within walking distance (with luggage) to the train station and the Pompeii excavation site - making our trip very easy. It is clean and simple, good hot water and a nice breakfast. The nice lady at the front desk helped us with dinner reservations and other calls that required Italian. (She also arranged for a driver to pick up my husband at the Naples airport for 60 euro - worth the money.) She was a delight. I did not realize how close we were to the train - so when I arrived, I got a taxi from the train to the hotel with my 4 kids - he drove us around and around for 15 euro - when we could have walked! Highly Recommend.
