It was the only truly disgusting meal I've had in Italy. We really didn't expect fine dining, obviously - this is a train station bar and a lot can be forgiven. We wanted simple and cheap bowl of pasta, no more. The lady didn't speak English, but managed to make it clear that there was nothing else left in the kitchen but lasagne. We didn't feel like it, but were desperate at this point. The dish was not only disgusting but also not heated up properly. The meat looked like cat food and it was all cold inside. In the meanwhile we've seen other customers being served pasta and other dishes. I only ate this crap because I was really hungry but my partner didn't. The most surprising thing was the bill: €20 - turns out the lasagne was the most expensive item on the menu, all other pasta dishes were in the range €3-5. What a coincidence, seriously! My partner refused to pay and our complaint turned into a big quarrel with a manager which was really unpleasant. They took €5 off the bill, but we were treated with extreme contempt and felt really awful at the end of it all. If you are desperate you will be better off buying a snickers bar from the vending machine.
