The hotel is located down a poorly maintained road about 10-12 minutes walk from the railway station. It seemed at first an odd place to have a hotel, but it soon became apparent that its location was a positive as it was a quiet neighbourhood. There is a railway line close by, but it is not busy and the trains are going slowly so we hardly noticed them.
The rooms are small but clean and air conditioned. The hotel was very quiet while we were there, however, they seem to open the pool area up to day visitors so it can get busy if you want to lounge in the sun. Having the use of a pool was a godsend after walking around the ruins of Pompeii in 90+ degrees of heat.
The roof terrace was a great facility in the evening, watching the sun go down over Vesuvius whilst sipping a cold beer.
If I had to find one negative it would be that there was not a large choice for breakfast but being a small hotel it would not be viable to have a big spread. Having said that there was enough to satisfy our hunger.
If you don't mind a walk in to town then I would recommend staying here. We would not hesitate to visit again.More
