Le Pleiadi B&B is located very conveniently if you're arriving by car (easy to find off of the highway), and it's steps away from the train station as well. There is parking provided. There seem to be only about 5-6 rooms, so it's very quiet. There is a common area where breakfast is served in the morning and a nice terrace outside. The grounds as well as the common areas are kept immaculate.
The room itself is very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. There is an armoir with plenty of room to put away your clothes. The bathroom was clean and adequate. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. There is a small TV in the room, with all Italian channels (no satellite).
The owner was very nice and helpful. You will be asked when you'd like to have your breakfast and he will be there in the morning to make you coffee and serve breakfast. The breakfast (as is the case with all Italian breakfasts) is quite light when compared to North American standards (i.e. eggs/bacon/home fries/etc). Italians eat sweets in the morning, so this is what the breakfast was like - we had each a fresh pastry (usually a croissant filled with jam or a donut), and dried bread with a selection of spreads. There was also some juice and coffee. Nothing spectacular, but gives you enough energy for a couple of hours.
The B&B is located a 10-15 min walk from the Amphitheater entrance to the Pompeii National Park site. This is where we entered as it's less busy from that end. You will pass the city centre and the main square on the way between the B&B and the Pompeii site, with plenty of bakeries and fruit stands on the way, where you can pick up some snacks, as the restaurant inside the site is quite expensive.
I would recommend Le Pleiadi for its value and location.
