Stayed here for a long weekend with 2 girlfriends. The staff happily located us on the same floor. They also provided gluten free products for breakfast. There was a good selection at breakfast. The staff were charming and helpful, recommending places to eat near by. The rooms were spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. It was easy for us to find our way around and navigate the city from this location. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for a week's time and we enjoyed every bit of it. Not only is the hotel very clean and renovated, but it has great service and a killer breakfast. The bed is comfortable, and if you get a room with a hydromassage tub you will make yourself really comfortable. The added rooftop patio really set the room over the top. There is also the matter of the sheer amount of pastries that fly around this place. Whether it's for simply having an after dinner digestif in their bar or as an apology for taking too long with the room service order (they didn't but who am I to say no to free, warm sfogliatelle), it seems like they ordered too many and are trying to get rid of them, which trust me is a good thing for patrons. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had in a hotel, and the coffee is bar quality. Yes, the area is a bit sketchy for those who haven't been near a port before, but the hotel itself is 10 to 15 minutes walking away from major attractions in Naples, which is a big plus.

Room tip: 6th or 7th floor or bust!

Every comfort, nice room and good facilities, staff a bit slow on the uptake and you could be waiting sometime to get a drink from the bar!!! The place is missing a comfortable lounge area, there is seating in reception but it makes it feel like a waiting room

Helpful staff. Everyone spoke good English, and they helped us with all our questions about travel in the area. Great location, close to a fun part of Naples to explore. Quiet hotel, with little street noise.

Palazzo Salgar is a well located hote, near both to the port and the city center. This explains that the location is sometimes noisy (there was a street festival next corner during the weekend). The amenities of the hotel and the room are fine.
The breakfast is rich and tasty, however, after several days, boring.
