The building is in a great location on Sorrento's main street. Playground, grocery store, restaurants all walking distance. The original apartment we reserved had "electrical problems" so we were given another apartment on the top floor - no elevator in the building and we have a small child. Kitchen was way outdated, too hot with no window shades or AC to make it cool, and with no counter space to prepare anything. AC didn't work properly in the bedroom, water heater was only big enough to hold water for 2 very short showers, and we had 1 fewer beds than originally reserved so we were cramped. No apologies, no money back, nothing to make us feel better. Only for the last night did we get the original apartment we reserved. Had we gotten it right away, our experience would've been a lot better as that apartment had working AC, workable kitchen and the right amount of beds for us on the second floor. Luca was not very responsive throughout our stay and we didn't even get tips from him about how to get to the grocery store or playground. We're planning on coming back to Sorrento in the near future but won't stay at this apartment.
We arrived and there was nobody to meet us to give us keys. My husband had to call from the US to get a hold of the a friend to give us the keys which took several hours. The apartment manager who was a nice as could be said that there was some confusion with the booking.com . After that we struggled with the hit water, the heat and the electricity went out. My sister from New Zealand had the booking under her name and did not insist on a refund and the owners as far as I am aware did not volunteer either. Great location and partmnet but the overall management would need to improve greatly. I was just glad we were not travelling with kids. Lizel Wieser - Tucson, AZ - USA
