Excellent hotel. Staff at the reception desk was very helpful. They assisted us in finding the main attractions of Napoli, (especially Francesco :)) but also in organising our transfers to the Amalfi coast.

Is not convenient if you are taking train as it is 3 metro station away from termini station and a lot of walking to get to metro station. But is quite near once you are out from metro ad the metro line is a new line, Dante station. The hotel is very trendy and colorful. The breakfast is good, i love their croissant as they bake it freshly. The fruits is always not ripe. The front desk is very friendly and helpful whether is morning or night shift. All the room have their own design which i find it nice as all our rooms are different. The downside is that is all stairs so if your luggage is big and heavy then it is a pain. Also the other downside is that there is a smell in their rooms. As we check in then check out to sicily and check in back to other room, the smell is the same. Overall is a good hotel.

Room Tip: There is a couple room which is like a suite but the ceiling is so low. The one for 3 person has a very nice balcony but is next to the kitchen. Our room, twin bed has a very high ceiling like duplex but the toilet is upstair through a narrow stair.Another 3 person room have a sky window on top of the ceiling with a very stylo remote control.

Dear Anniegmy,
thanks for writing a commentary about the Hotel Correra 241. Actually the shortest way from the central station (named Garibaldi, not Termini which is in Rome!) is to take the new metro line (direction Dante, only 3 stops) and once you are outside the metro we are just a few steps far; as you said, there's no need to take the othe metro line which will take you to the stop Museo, not far from the hotel but obviously less near than the Dante's one.
We are glad that you appreciated the design of the hall and rooms, as well as the breakfast, always prepared with fresh and typical products, and our friendly and helpful staff, active 24h. As I said in a previous review answer, the smell come from the material of the floor, and we are working on it, so thanks for giving us this notification.
We hope that your stay was pleasant and hope to welcome you again in the future!

Best regards,
Gemma Formisano

This an excellent hotel and a fantastic base to see what Naples and the surrounding area has to offer (which is a lot!).
The self styled "Art Hotel" provides a bright and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, our room was perfect for our 6 day stay, and the breakfast provided was exceptionally good.
The location of the hotel is ideal; at the gate of the old City, a couple of 100 metres from a Metro station and quick access to the central train station, and a lived area of character with fine local shops that are worth supporting.
We would highly recommend this hotel, and Naples as a place to visit itself, and as a base to see the jewels that this area holds.

Room Tip: I think all rooms are very good. Our's was excellent but as an "attic" room the ceiling was quite low..so perhaps tall people should check that their room is not the attic room...I think all other rooms were of a normal room height.

Dear Alan,
thanks for writing this great review about the Hotel Correra 241 and the city of Naples. As you said, the central location of the hotel, a few steps from the historical centre, let us explore easily the history of Naples but also the contemporary part of it. We are glad that you liked the design of our hall and rooms, together with the breakfast and our friendly and helpful staff.

We hope to see you again in the future.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in May 2014. The trip by car through old Napoli is not very encouraging, but don't worry. The hotel is at the very edge of old Napoli. It's in an old industrial building, and as a result, some rooms have a funny shape (in ours we needed a remote control to operate the shades!). But. It was a very nice experience. Big, clean room. Excellent service. Very close to major attractions (National Archeological Museum, Sansevero Chapel, etc). Nice breakfast. Safe neighborhood with good options for lunch and breakfast (follow Rick Steve's advice)

Dear Valdana,
thanks for your commentary about the Hotel Correra 241. We are glad that you had a nice experience and that you appreciated the history of our building, one of a kind, with rooms all different from each other: we like the idea of mixing ancient and contemporary all in one. The location is strategic but also safe and the area constantly supervised by the police.

We hope to meet you again in the future!

I have to say to start off with that we really enjoyed our time in Naples, it is not for everyone that's for sure, but i feel it is a place worth seeing, that has an unfair image. The hotel was in the centre of the city, right off the main road, very easy to find. The hotel has 2 gates you have to enter through (great for security) and is incorporated on an old roman aqueduct. Perfect location! The hotel is clean and contemporary. The rooms are large, there is aircon in the room and the wifi works well. The issues i personally had with this hotel however are; firstly the bed is way too short for anyone 6 foot and over, my legs hung from end. Secondly the soaps in our room (shampoos, hand soaps) where never re-filled once used. Thirdly the breakfast was quite limited (no toaster, few pastries) with the staff being slow re-fill anything until you specifically asked them (ie fruit and yogurts) and lastly, there was as I can see has been mentioned by others a smell coming from the bathroom on occasions. Ohh and I almost forgot the funny art works in the reception area which some people with young children etc (not me personally though, I didnt mind) might find inappropriate, one was of a young girl removing her underwear and said "sometimes I like to take my dresses off". Overall not a bad hotel by any means, just a few things that can be fixed up.

Dear Sarajevo-Sydney,
first of all we thank you for having chosen the Hotel Correra 241 for your stay in Naples and for writing a commentary about your experience at our hotel. We are glad that you enjoyed the city and appreciated some strong points of ours: the central location, the safety guaranteed by the 2 gates, the mix of history and contemporary design all in one throughout the hotel, the cleanliness and the shape of the rooms, the services of air conditioning and wifi free.
Your suggestions are very important to us to improve our services day by day but I need to contest on some points:
- The size of the beds of all the rooms are 2,00x1,85 meters except for the smallest one (the single room) which has a bed sized 1,95x0,90 meters: I really don't know what to say, since it is the first time that one guest tells us that the beds are small!
- The courtesy toilette kit is replaced every day: I'm sure that the staff forgot for once to do it and I apologize for this.
- Breakfast is arranged with fresh products and I personally think that it cannot be told limited since the guests will have served: empty croissants to fill with 3 different kinds of jam, honey and chocolate cream together with butter and rusks; typical local pastries, cakes and muffins; different kind of cheese and ham, together with different kinds of bread; fresh fruit; 5 different types of cereals and yogurth; 3 kinds of juices, together with milk, coffee, chocolate, tea and barley and different kinds of sugar. All this is re-filled continuously and in the shortest possible time.
- About the smell, it may be that it comes from the material of the floor and we're working on it, but not from the bathroom for sure!
- Last but not the least the artworks in the hall: the Hotel Correra 241 is an "Art Hotel" decorated with the artworks by a talented local artist which are, as you said, not for everyone.

Anyway the guests are very important to us as well as their opinion, so we thank you for sharing with us your thoughts.
We hope to meet you again in the future,
Best regardsm
