I travelled alone and stayed in a small room that had a bed, small table, and shower-toilet. The room was right next to the front desk and close enough to the street (alley) with bars that if you need total peace and quiet, at the very least make sure you don't take room A. The bathroom was quite large with a shower stall, plenty of room. Because of the position of the building and the street, there was hardly any direct sunlight.
Every morning someone came in to make the bed, change towels. One important thing-bring your own soap/shampoo! They only offer shower gel, no shampoo. Overall, very nice.
The main benefit of this B&B and why i would stay there again is because it is adjacent to the Jewish community. It's down the road from the synagogue and a two minute walk from the beach. Since I keep kosher, i did not take advantage of the B&B's breakfast but there was cereal, fresh croissants, freshly made cappachino, spreads...
Other locational benefits are a two minute walk from stores such as Prada, Gucci, Tod's, Armani and Ferragamo. Also it's a two-minute walk from the American Consulate for those who need it.
Be warned - most of the staff speak English but very basic.More
