“Silent accomodation in a chaotic city”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

I stayed in Casa Argentino for about a week and certainly didn't regret it. Anna, the host, was very caring and helpful in every way and on many days on my journey through the city I had her self-made napoletanean style cakes with me for lunch. The appartment is beautiful and so is the view on the bay of Naples. Funicolare and subway stations are only a five minute walk away. The only challenge one may face is getting home after staying in the historical center until late at night. Nevertheless it is possible to somehow find proper busses to Belvedere even at nights.

Anna was the perfect host-welcoming, attentive and eager to ensure that our stay with her was perfect.
We were given a choice of breakfast and chose typical Napolitano.
What an amazing spread was laid out for us on our balcony the next morning! We had not expected the beautiful pastries and home-made jams that were provided.
Another nice touch is the small fridge in the room which Anna stocks with beers, water and soft drinks free of charge. The view from the balcony must be one of the best in Naples and the complex itself was an oasis of calm in a very busy city. The bathroom was stocked with every possible item of toiletry that one might need, again a very welcome extra if one is on a short trip with limited luggage. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely B&B to anyone wanting to experience Naples as it should be experienced.

Excellent B&B with a wonderful Host in a lovely part of Naples
My wife and I recently spent a short stay in Naples on the way back from a holiday in Sorrento. We booked Casa Argentino mainly on the basis of other positive reviews and can report that we are delighted to have done so. We were given a beautiful bedroom and bathroom which would not be out of place in most upmarket hotels. In addition it also had a balcony overlooking the Bay of Naples. Also included was remote controlled air conditioning and free Internet access. This B & B is run by a wonderful host who makes her guests feel so very welcome. She could not have been more helpful and gave lots of advice regarding the area and Naples in general. A beautiful breakfast was provided in the main dining area. If you wish you may have breakfast on you room balcony.
This B & B is centrally located in the district of Vomero which is a very pleasant and safe area to stay. It is ideally located for the Airport which is about 15 minutes in a Taxi. The Metro is quite close, which makes it an ideal location to explore the rest of Naples. Also nearby is the Plaza Vanvitelli which is a lovely shopping street with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. When you come out the Main Gate(security locked) walk straight across the street , passed the restaurant and turn right and walk straight ahead for approx 10 mins to the Plaza.
When researching Naples I came across many negative comments regarding the city. Like all major cities it has districts to avoid but also many worth visiting. Vomero is one of those and we can say that our visit to Naples was a most pleasant experience. On arrival at the main train station we took a Taxi to our accommodation. The driver could not have been more helpful and delivered us right to the door. We enjoyed our visit so much we intend to return as our stay was far too short. There is much more of this lovely city which we need to explore. When we do return we will definitely stay in Casa Argentino and would highly recommend it without hesitation.

We recently spent 4 nights in Naples and were treated to an idyllic stay with Anna, who runs the B&B from her beautiful apartment. Waking up to a view of the bay of Naples from a private balcony was pretty special!! Anna was more than happy to accommodate breakfast at a time that suited us and I think the location in Vomero can't be beat, it is one of the best parts of Naples to stroll around, close to good shops and restaurants. When I come to visit family again this is where I would stay as it is economical and Anna treats you like family too! Its also about a 5 min walk from the funicolare and subway that take you within 10 minutes to the old centre of Naples. I highly recommend a stay here to experience how it is to live in the heart of Naples, with a genuinely caring local who treats you like family but can give you privacy as needed.

We have been to Naples for a short break last saturday.
We booked the B&B CASA ARGENTINO for the first time . Its location in the heart of the VOMERO residential area .
This b&b lays on the second floor of a block of flat immersed in a beautiful residential park, overlooking the sea . As we entered the cosy and well furnished kitchen of the house (gorgeous I'd better say) we were immediately attracted by the breathtaking scenery of the Naples gulf just presented in front of us. The nice balcony of the house gives you the impression to be right on the sea, and during the nice weather days you can see Capri island on your right hand side as well as the Castello dell'Ovo on your left one.
Breakfast can be served on the balcony weather permitting.
The king size bed room is very nice, excellent mattresses, nice furniture and a gorgeous bathroom complete the offer. Air conditioning is available in the room .
The owner of the B&B , mrs Argentno, is extremely friendly and is an excellent host for all her guests. She is a skilled tour-guide and may unveil you many hidden secrets of the history of Naples.
All around the location there are many shops, restaurants and famous "pizzerie" were you can spend your "lun or evening time".
Book it with confidence for your vacation this is a safe and quite place to start your tour in Naples.

I was staying in Naples for 5 weeks, and fate and great luck sent me here to the home of Mrs. Anna Cimmina, This beautiful woman, is more than an innkeeper, she may be one the greatest people I have ever met in my life. Here home is gorgeous, your room overlook's the Bay of Naples from your balcony, you wake to the rising sun, and Mrs. Cimmina's beautiful smile. Her home is centrally located in Vomero, a few short blocks you are in the heart of Plaza Vanvitelli, where you will find restaurants, bars, shopping, or a peaceful bench to watch the magic of Naples take place. The Metro & Funicular are right there as well, making it an excellent jumping off point, to explore all of Naples. Vomero, is a beautiful spot outside the madness of the Historic District. But again the real star here is Mrs. Cimmina, and her home, which for 5 weeks became my home, do not miss the opportunity to stay here, you will thank me. I look forward to returning, and will only stay here, more important, I look forward to seeing Mrs. Cimmina's beautiful smile, each morning over my coffee. AV
