Gay Odin has a number of stores in Italy. They are mainly concentrated in Naples but I believe there are a few further out in Rome and Milan. The ice cream is beautiful. Some of the best ice cream Naples has to offer, if not the best. The flavours are not the generic ones which you find in most places, which is great if you want to try something different. Some of my favourites are latte e canella (cinnamon), Gianduia bianca (praline), mandorla (almond), cocco bello (coconut). I'm not a fan of chocolate ice creams but theirs are so tasty. I don't think I've ever tried one of their flavours which was less than perfect! They also do a seasonal flavour of pastiera napoletana which is good. While their chocolates are rather expensive, they are made with a very high cocoa content and are well worth a try! This is a must do while you're in Naples - even though it can get a little busy at times I would advise the Gay Odin store on spaccanapoli for the best ice cream selection. Enjoy!
