We stayed in this hotel on our holiday to visit Pompeii.train station for Pompeii is 40 my fron hotel.Naples is not the clean and interesting part of Italy.piazza garibaldi is a bit poor looking surrounding just like the rest of Naples.I did not feel unsafe there.it was ok..hotel had great breakfast and spacious rooms.location was the reason I was there.I suggest you to stay on the way to Pompeii..

Dear guest,

Thank you for your kind comments on the Ramada, though I do consider your judgment of Naples to be a little hasty as you stayed only one day which, in fairness, you spent partly in Pompeii. One should perhaps take more time to consider before passing such an opinion, however personal.

Kind regards,

compare to normal 4 star rate hotel, I would say this hotel is lower than a standard. The hotel is quite old though it is situated in a very good location, air con did not working, water heater was not working during our first night too, shortage of staff hence we need to queue up for a while whenever need help. We booked and paid for the family room which is for 4 adult, at first hotel want to downgrade us to triple room which is smaller but we did not compromise, and the staff keep on insisting that the family room was totally booked. But finally we get the room but need to wait for a while... lousy in a way. All amenity did not fill up every day too.

Dear guest,
This review requires attentive analysis because otherwise it could sound like an alarm bell. In detail: good position; air conditioning off (Easter in Naples was cold and wet!); no hot water (we found no fault with our heaters); a rush of customers that our reception staff (three per shift) were not able to handle quickly (but we give all customers the time they require). We do, however, apologise for not forewarning the customer that the family rooms may have been oversold, and for not having suggested the alternative of a suite earlier as an upgrade, even though the compensation was not inconsiderable.
Kind regards.

We stayed at this hotel in an overnight stay while visiting Pompeii.

The hotel is close to the train station which was a major Draw card for my wife and I.

The hotel was welcoming and the staff on the front desk were helpful. The staff in the breakfast room were a little abrupt but this appears to be the Italian way.

The room was clean and a reasonable size with a widescreen tv and a few english speaking news chanels however the bed was hard! And very uncomfortable. If I were staying for more than 1 night this would have been a problem.

Dear guests,
Comfortable beds are undoubtedly a “draw card” for us at the Ramada. We invite all our guests to always state their preferences, even if they are only going to stay a short while. It is essential for us to always pass positive feedback on to our guests. Also, it is never easy to anticipate the many needs and tastes of our guests; for example, in the case of TV channels, many people may be perfectly satisfied with two English channels out of 14 foreign ones.

We stayed at the hotel for a night and found the hotel to be okay. Hotel is conveniently located near to Napoli Centrale, the main train station and Capodichino International airport. All the main piazzas and streets are within walkable range. Few good restaurants are also near to the hotel location. Naples is quite crowded and dirty like any big city. Sorrento is also near, you'll have to catch the subway or bus to sorrento which stops nearby. We went to Mount Vesuvius by catching train from Napoli Centrale to Pompei and then bus from Pompeii to Mount Vesuvius.
Location and comfort are the biggest plus points of this hotel though I found this hotel to be over pricy. Breakfast is very good, lots of variety and good taste. Their is a bus service for Capodincho airport called Allibus from Napoli Centrale which takes you to airport within 20-30 minutes for 3 Euros.

The staff was very kind and helpfull. Very close to the train station. The rooms are extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fine with a lot of choice. Internet and printing are free.
The shower was dirty, curtains were dusty. Air conditioning didn't work in room. There was no tea or coffee in the rooms.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your comment which I consider very positive, especially because issued by an experienced traveler who has written over 200 reviews. I believe that the positive points (location, friendliness, rooms comfort ) that you highlighted are much more strategic in the overall assessment of the hotel service compared to the negative. Among others, please, note that tea and coffee maker is not provided in the standard rooms and that any non-operation of the heating system can be solved with a simple room change (if reported) or caused by the switch set on “off " position ( independent system for each room). Regarding your mention to the room cleaning I will investigate personally involving our housekeeping department. Thanks again for your flattering comments and for having choosen Ramada Naples City Center.

Great location so close to the train station and across the road from the train to sorrento. An easy walk to the old town.
It's by no means a fancy hotel but it does the job, feels secure and is clean. The breakfast is also very decent. Would stay here again.

We arrived late arround 10.30 Pm. The restraurant was closed and no room service at all.The room was dirt and dusty.
The breakfast was good and the staff were very good. Always willing to help and very friendly
Full credit goes to the staff
But the Senior management should make every effort to keep the place clean, tidy and above all attractive.
I know the location is not the best in the world. Personally Ramada International should do something to safeguard its image and attract more tourist Ramada Naples
I have stayed at various Ramada hotels all over the world , but this is theworst for cleanliness

Room Tip: Front is better than the back

Dear Guest,

After 10.30PM and until midnight our bar offers a selection of toast, sandwiches and snacks as well as fruit, cakes and, of course, all kind of beverage. I am very surprised about your comment regarding the cleanliness of the rooms as it represents one of our strengths as highlighted by other travelers of this forum. Nevertheless, I will personally assess the status of your room informing and involving the housekeeping staff.
Thanking you for posting your useful review, I remain with best regards.
