Lively atmosphere, wooden furnitures, a big bar right in the middle of the pub, stools, football scarves hanging from the ceiling, very dim lights...yes, the Frank Malone it's really a classic british pub.
As usual in Naples' pubs, you can have appetizers, burgers and some dishes along with your beer. The former are like anywhere else, potatos and french fries mostly, the burgers are good but not great (bread quality isn't exceptional) and there are just an handful of dishes (a vegan choice, cold and hot meat etc.).
Beers are all pretty well known: Beamish, Foster's and Bulldog. Not a vast choice but good quality. I'd have liked some not-so-known-but-great-nonetheless beers though.
Service is friendly, waitresses are prompt to suggest in case you can't decide what to have. It's a very small pub, there are less than a dozen tables I'd say, get here early if you need one. Prices are along the lines of other nearby pubs; not any cheaper though, in truth I expected to pay a little less (51€ for 3 people, 3 beers, 2 dishes and 1 burger; one of the beer was a half pint too). I find quite outrageous that they charge 16% on service fees when there's a sport event airing on tv. I bet others do the same so I thank the Frank Malone staff for saying it on the menu and not charging you at the end without telling but 16% is really excessive just for having the chance to watch football while sipping your beer.
Overall a worthy place to have a beer and eat something if you are around the area. Not the cheapest nor the one with the most comprehensive menu. And bring a torch light if you go on the evening, pub's lights are very, very dim!
