Friendly and efficient service, delicious food with very high quality ingredients, & a well priced wine list a stone's throw from Castel dell'Ovo. Go!

“This is the very best restaurant in Naples”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

Forget everything you have learnt about Neapolitan kitchen - this is the place where quality and creativity go hand in hand to produce one of the most innovative kitchens in this otherwise so traditional city! The flavours and the raw materials blend beautifully and the result is out of this world. I have travelled much around the globe but this restaurant really got under my skin. I love Italian kitchen but in Naples there are no many restaurants that strike my fancy - this one did and it did BIG! The atmosphere is chic without being excessively elegant, the service is discreet and efficient and the owners lovely people who really give the best of themselves. The main player though is the food...what about mini octopuss with lavender?...or gnocchi al nero di seppia with a citrus and ginger touch? All pure creativity and a feast for the eyes and the taste!

“In Naples you may have something more than standard neapolitan cooking!”
Reviewed November 9, 2012 via mobile

Nice ambiance, good service, good cantine and great food! The cook is a nice lady very passionate in re-enterpreting local food and recipes with modern taste. The husband welcomes you in an elegant dining room. You are on Riviera di Chiaia, in front of splendid gulf of Naples: what more?

“Beautiful cuisine attentively served - I could eat here every week”
Reviewed February 18, 2012

Occasionally, I come across an establishment where even my high expectations are completely surpassed and this is indeed one of them. We went to this restaurant on a cold Saturday night in February where we were warmly received by the manager and his assistant who took great lengths to advise us on wines and the origin of the dishes, for example, my other half's dessert is only normally made in carnaval time apparently. They even offered to make us things which weren't on the menu without any prompting. I enjoyed a tuna tartar for starters followed by sea bass (spigola) cooked the traditional Neapolitan way while my partner enjoyed a perfectly cooked rack of lamb. Wine was a local 2000 rosso from the region and made perfect accompaniment. Desserts were made there and then for us and like the rest of the meal, were faultless. For the price, this meal was excellent. If only every restaurant of this calibre could be as good as this one!

“Delightful”
Reviewed January 23, 2012

Very nice food, excellent service, good prices. This place was a delight. In fact, we tried to go back but it was shut on our last night in Naples. The guy who ran front of house was very helpful and he advised on a very nice wine at a reasonable price. The only pity was that there were very few other diners, which always makes the place a bit too quite for my liking but it was a winter's night!!
