“centrally located”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2012 for a stay in May 2012

The flat was centrally located in the historical centre of Naples close to the Duomo. It was a large flat that would accommodate quite a few people. It had a lift.

“Great Apartment, Superb Location, Friendly Reception”

The apartment is located in a building adjacent to the Duomo, cathedral and walking distance to many of the sites in Naples. The main railway station and train to Pompei etc. Prices locally for eating out and shopping are very reasonable. A very authentic feel to the surrounding area.

The owners also have other apartments in the locality which are also of a high standard and also safe and conveniently positioned

You are guaranteed a friendly reception from this family who will be ready to assist you with any difficulties.

We would definitely stay here again!

“Right in the center of Neapolitan life.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2011 for a stay in May 2011

This apartment is truly in the center of things in Napoli with the Duomo on one side of the building and the busy shopping street Via Tribunali on the other side. There are half a dozen or so historic churches and several museums with great artistic merit within a couple of blocks of the apartment. There is a street, Via St. Gregorio Armenio, two blocks away consisting almost entirely of shops selling the small figurines (such as Pulcinella and nativity scenes) for which Naples is renowned. The St. Gregorio Armenio chuch and convent are located here and are well worth seeing.. Restaurants, pizzarias, food stores and other retailing is just steps away from the apartment. The Cavour subway stop is about three blocks away, providing flexibility for local travel. Indeed, everything of interest in downtown Naples is within walking distance of the apartment - no more than half a mile away.

The neighborhood is certainly busy with lots of people and traffic coming and going through the day and even some at night. But this is not disturbing and certainly does give a flavor of daily life in Napoli. It is so charming just to walk on the side streets and experience the different shops, food outlets (lots of pizza available!) and the people.

The apartment is well-equiped and provides good kitchen and dining facilities. The space in the apartment is substantial; one does not feel cramped. The air-conditioning works well. The small balcony overlooking the Via Duomo is a real plus as one can sit by it and observe the busy passing scene below. One should be aware that one of the bedrooms consists of a loft reached by a steep set of stairs. This should not be a problem but one should carefully navigate the steps as is prudent for all lofts.

Paola and Antonio, the persons administering the apartment, were most friendly and always responsive when any request for assistance or information was made.

Désolé pour les plaintes de Mme. S’il voulait la vue sur la mer depuis la fenêtre pourrait aller à l’hôtel Vesuvio, seulement il en coûte 500 € par nuit Pour d’autres choses que je regrette et nous améliorerons.
