“Don't miss it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2014

The company who took me to be a speaker at a seminar managed to get the Museo for their event. it was the first time that I spoke in a XVII century church. It was superb and at th end of the work we had a guided tour that has permitted to have a full knowledge of the place and to see with completely different eyes. Do take the guided tour with the people over there.

“Stunning”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2013

Came here to see a performance of Caravaggio XXI and were knocked out by the quality and quantity of the decorations in the church. Stucco mouldings, marble inlay, stunning frescoes. A panoply of Italian art history in one place. The museum upstairs is a pass notes guide to religious history starting with the biblical stories, the martyrs and confessors, the religious orders, the mendicant orders and finally the clergy all explained against the backdrop of the social history of the times. All illustrated with paintings and sculptures.

“Unique”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Ask someone from the staff to show you to the gothic church on the back - it's older then the most popular churches in Naples, hence provides good reference point to compare.

“Fabulous 14th Century Frescoes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

Two churches in one, in front a Baroque Church with some excellent religious paintings both in the church & behind in a small gallery/museum but tithe older Church behind which is the real prize, upstairs in the Nuns Choir are some well preserved 14th Century Frescoes which took my breath away. Well worth a visit & right in the heart of the old city.
