Brilliant museum & Royal Palace rolled into one, something of interest or most people with an excellent range of paintings especially the stunning Carraveggio's Flagellation. There is also a small but excellent quality display of Porcelain & some simply stunning items from the Farnese collection of objects of rare or precious materials. The Royal apartments are well furnished & well signposted & in a separate wing a range of rooms have been created showing how the private rooms of the Savoy family would have been decorated which was interesting & less grand. There is also a huge park which local people seemed to be enjoying, a good spot for a picnic lunch or where the kids can run off some energy whilst you relax for awhile, away from the noise & bustle of downtown.

The art collection does not need any advertiment . As far as facilities are concerned just remember you are in Naples. BUT the park is an absolute rarity in an otherwise impossible and noise ridden unfortunate city .

Hosts really nice collection of 18thC paintings, furniture, some clothes, antique sculptures, and amazing selection of porcelain. Not to mention a large garden.

On the second floor (top floor) in the absolutely furthest corner from the entrance is a small room with one painting: Artemisia's painting of Judith slaying Holofernes. This picture says it all to women who have been abused.
