“Please Provide The Extras At No Extra Cost”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

For this price the hotel is, of course, very nice, rooms are good and the breakfast was not bad. The problem is for this price why you have to pay for so much extra for services that you don't have to in cheaper and much cheaper hotels. For example internet access and even access to the pool, both charged at a very high price. It gets worse with tea and coffee. No in room tea/coffee facilities are provided, in my experience you don't get these in backpacker hostels either but anything in between you do... but then I guess this hotel couldn't charge you $12 for a cup of tea if they did provide in room facilities.

We recently stayed for four nights in this lovely hotel. Our room was facing the bay with a beautiful view both night and day. The staff were more than helpful and efficient. Breakfast was very good and the choice was vast, pity you still have to pay if you would like to order some cooked breakfast (eggs, omelets...) or for some facilities like Wi-fi which in hotel of this level there should be no charge. The room was beautifully clean the crisp white linen sheets were incredible! Toiletry was impeccable nothing was missing and the towels were soft and fluffy, changed frequently if required. Bed was a good king size and very comfortable. The location is what you need for a city break, in the middle of everything 15 min walk from/to everywhere. Highly recommended and will certainly return sometime.

Stayed at Hotel Vesuvio for 2 nights in a suite front sea view. Arrived at the hotel from the airport, and the taxi driver, after asking me to help put the luggage in the car, charged an extra. Check in was efficient. Suite is normal size, front sea view.the hotel is a member of LHW,so it s really a 5 star deluxe hotel.
Shower separated from the tub.Ammenities not any special brand.Free wifi but the speed conection...
Buffet breakfast with a normal variety of cheeses, only one type of butter ,a normal selection of cheeses, fresh squeezed orange juice.
Concierge is normal,nothing to mention.
The city itself is not good, you don t feel safe
Check out normal.
If one day I came back to Naples I ll stay here

The hotel is very elegant and charming, location is beautiful, rooms are spacious, comfortable with large bathrooms. Breakfast is served on first floor in a lovely room with a spectacular view, there is a great selection of delicious cakes- small sfogliatelle and baba are so good!- you couldn't start your day in a better way. We stayed only one night but we really enjoyed

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors with sea view

We recently stayed here for our honeymoon, as a pass-over point between Capri and Venice. There were service charges for everything including wi-fi, no outdoor pool area, and the staff was nowhere near as accommodating as we expected. In fact, the staff was at time downright rude. I will not stay in this hotel again, nor would I recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxed, leisurely vacation.

We stayed 2 nights at the start of our holidays and it was perfect to visit Naples and also get away from the crowed and noise to chill.
Hotel is very classic and older style but well kept and the staff is at your service.
Good breakfast and just negative point would be that in August the top floor restaurant bar is closed.
Also we found that 25 euros per person to access the swimming pool and spa was way to expensive.

Probably the best hotel we ever stayed at, and we did stay at some great hotels.
We had a suite overlooking the sea and an old castle.
The two rooms were exquisite in modernized "old-style" decor with fabric on the walls. Phones were located on every table. Most comfortable beds. The bathroom was luxurious with every amenity imaginable - even tooth brushes.
We had room service the first night. A beautiful table with a rose in a vase was put in front of the beautiful view of the sea. Food was most delicious and beautifully served. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet.
A box of cookies was left for us as a gift.
The staff was very kind and attentive.
Wish we could have stayed longer!
