Owner description: The tradition of representing the Holy Family as true art lives on in this narrow street, which is crowded on both sides with hundreds of artisan workshops with colorful displays of Nativity scenes.
Reviewed July 23, 2013

A street packed on both sides with small bottega filled with traditional christmas cribs and figurines so much associated and renouned in naples. Can be lucky to see a couple of artisans to conduct live shows of their craftmenship. An attraction worth visiting whilst in naples and if you happen to like anything there, check for a good price but surely go for it....it would be the best souvenir to take back home. Best part of naples to visit indeed.

We discovered this little street by chance and were amazed by the huge variety of presepi, or nativity scenes, for sale. You could find almost anything you wanted to build your very own scene, from lifelike backdrops to the smallest accessories, such as fountains that really flow, street lamps that really light up, animated figurines of women ironing clothes, chefs putting pizza in the oven, etc. We were also impressed with the quality of the craftsmanship. This is real handicraft, not made in China plastic junk!

This 'quartiere" has the soul of Naples: Art! All the Presepios Stores and all the products are hand made, its an ancian arte of the Napolitan's people. you can also visit at the same area: Napoli Soterranea!

It is a really fun place to visit with children because they love looking at all the crib scenes. Lots of places to eat nearby and surrounded by amazing churches.
