“Reasonable to stay”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

Location is good if you want stay close to downtown , tidy clean and good size room. Breakfast was satisfied large however open at 7:15am which is late for who wants you star day in early. Bathrom showers are various , our room shower was so narrow so I couldn't feel well while having shower but other room (kids stayed) had bathtub. Anyhow good to stay , try to book by tripadvisor or others for get good deals.
Napoli city has not much thing to offer rather then archeology museum , Pompeii and Herculaneum. Otherwise try to stay Other side like Sorrentro Amalfi Positano....

Stayed 3 nights in a well-appointed room with excellent bathroom. Even if overlooking a main thoroughfare, my room was quiet and comfortable (well fitted double-glazed windows and easy-to-operate air conditioning). Continental breakfast perfectly OK. Definitely recommended.

Very nice hotel. It has been recently refurbished and the room was clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The hotel is located in a walking distance from the city center (old town) and around 15min walk from the train station. The breakfast was very basic (ham, cheese, scrambled eggs and tinned fruit) but it was good. The staff was nice and they did their best to explain everything in english.

We recently had a two night break at this hotel. The place is extremely clean, beautiful and well-kept. From the moment we checked in till the time we left, nothing was difficult. Rooms are superb, nicely decorated and spacious. Washroom was not too big, but well-appointed with necessary things. Food was good and had a great variety. Services were fantastic and I really couldn't have asked for more. Overall my stay was very refreshing and I would love to recommend it.

I stayed in this hotel to be close to my daughter who is on an Erasmus programme at the university. It was well priced in comparison with other hotels of a similar standard and the only one in the central area of the city that was of a good standard. Naples is not for the faint hearted and if you are not a streetwise traveller you would be best advised to stay in the Western area of the city where the hotels are smarter, the streets less narrow and the street vendors and beggars less of a pest. I had a double room for single occupancy and it was a reasonable size. I did see a single room and it was quite small and dark. The rooms are air conditioned and very clean. The bed was firm which suited me but others might not like that. There was a well fitted shower room and a room safe which is essential in this city. You can open the windows if you don't like aircon but the city outside is noisy all day and night and smelly even in April when I travelled. The breakfast was adequate, cereals, fruit, yogurt, good selection of pastries and scrambled egg and bacon. They have a small selection of gluten free rolls and cakes. Gluten intolerance is not recognised in Italy so you end up having a lot of salad in the local eateries! Reception was helpful and spoke good English although my daughter usually talked to them in Italian. They kept my bags on the day of departure with no problem. The staff were friendly but do not speak much English.
It is about a 20 minute walk from the central station in Piazza Garibaldi straight along the Corsa Umberto which is a safe busy street. Its a 20 minute walk from the port area from which you can get boats to Capri ,Ischia and along the Amalfi coast in season (July onwards)The area around the station should be avoided after dark and keep a close hold on your bags in the area and do not flash around money or phones. Do not wear any valuable jewellery in the streets and it can literally be snatched from your wrist or ears.
This applies pretty much anywhere in the city. Take flat, comfortable shoes as the pavements and roads are the worst I have ever encountered (worse than even African cities in places). Look out for the scooters, they drive on the pavements and the wrong way up roads and top speed with no thought for their safety or pedestrians. The driving is extraordinary, cars weave in and out inches apart from each other at top speed. Having said that the archaeological sites are fantastic, the many churches fascinating, bus and train transport is cheap and on time and you can have a fantastic pasta or pizza for 3-5 Euros all over the city. Check out the Artecard which an inclusive programme for entry to sites and museums plus the bus and train network and the airport shuttle bus for a low price. Especially good value for 18-25 year olds. (artecard.it)
Taxis are expensive and they will always try to rip you off. Ask in advance how much it will cost and if they say a price that you feel is too high- negotiate!
Check out the roof terrace on the 7th floor-interesting view.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the side or rear are quieter if you want to open your window.

Hotel was conveniently located to the port. Internet service did not work in the rooms. Excellent night desk clerk named Francesco was extremely helpful! Typical three star hotel. Good for an overnight or two, not a full vacation. There was only breakfast served in the AM. No decent restaurant within walking distance.

Room Tip: Back of hotel so you don't hear street.

We enjoyed the convenience of this hotel location since it was close to the ports. We took a ferry to Capri one day. The hotel is 10 minutes from the train station. It is also about 4 blocks from the area called the Old Town where there are restaurants. The hotel is very clean and has a very good breakfast which includes eggs, bacon, pastries, and made to order coffee. The decor is clean and contemporary. The rooms could get a little warm at night so we would turn the heat down as low as possible at night. The front desk staff were very helpful in providing directions and getting taxis for us. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: There is some street noise as this hotel is located on a busy street so the higher the room the bett...
