“Cosy hotel with friendly and helpful host”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

If we should ever come back to Naples again, this is the place we will definitely stay. we went there at the beginning of this month and to us, it's probably the best hotel in Naples as it absolutely exceeded all our expectations. For a very good price we stayed at a large and very comfortable room with a fantastic view over naples and the vesuvius. the hotel is small with only 4 rooms and thus quite intimate as you can easily meet up with other guests at the table in the dining room if you like.
the hotel has some features of a hostel as you also have 24-hour-access to the small kitchen with stove, fridge and lots of cooking equipment. and there is also access to a shared terrace with atmospheric view where we liked to sit in the evenings and relax. the house is in the back of the streets and therefore comparatively quiet. you can sleep with the window open without being disturbed by beeping car horns or other noises of the city.
yet, the best thing about the accommodation is its host. andrea is a very friendly and caring guy who can introduce you into the best places to be in naples and the surrounding area. in the mornings he serves a breakfast of good coffee and sweet neapolitan specialities and helps you to plan your day if you want to. he knows a good and cheap pizza place in every part of the town, the easiest way to get wherever you want to go and lots of things a stranger to the town would never come across.

so, if you expect a normal anonymous hotel don't go there. what you get is a real part of the vibrant and enchanting city of Naples with rooms of personal character and insider information given by the friendliest and most welcoming host we ever met.

Located right in the heart of Napoli. Only a short walk to the metro station. Buonanotte&Buongiorno offers a great view over the city and of Mt.Vesuvius. We were made to feel really welcome by Andea the host, who was incredibly helpful in suggesting places to visit and how to get to them. Coffee and local pastries for breakfast each morning, and you have the run of the kitchen and dining area if you should wish to use them. Wi Fi available. Bedrooms have all the basic necessities and the bathroom was fine. Great shower!
We really enjoyed our stay! A big thank you to Andrea!

It is not possible to define that bed&brackfast but a low-level hostel. The room had to have sight to the sea but we saw only a humid wall 30 cm from the window. The wash basin and the shower were clogged, the room was humid, dirty, had spider's webs at the door and the lamps! One of the beds was only an old and thin mattress on a wood boars. The breakfast (a croissant and a cold coffee) come at 9 am. ...too late for one who has only 2 days to see Naples and surroundings.

Even if I really don't remember that you have been at my place(and so, you haven't answered to my messages to tell me who you are) I have to suspect that this is a suspect review.
If you have had such a bad time in my place, why don't you tell me this? And so I excuse myself once more, even though I would like to know who you are, to remember what kind of error I have made.
Thanks!

we are 2 families ( with teenage children) who spent a week based here exploring naples and the amalfi coast. the accomodation is straightforward and comfortable, and the shining star is Andrea, who was determined that our stay was meaningful and as enjoyable as possible. He recommended the perfect pizzarias, activities and outings, and showed us the true spirit of naples from pizza making to canoeing oin local caves. I am recommending him to all my friends.

It´s a great place to be: it´s located in the middle of Napoli, so you can go to the old part of the town, as well as the sea part of the town.
The owner is a cool guy called Andrea, who will help you in everything you need, and will recommend the best way to know Napoli or any part you want: great places to eat, to visit, places that common tourists don´t know.

I can everyone recommand to stay here when visiting this beautyful city. The place is very well located and you can reach everything easy by feed. The guesthouse is small but very clean and more than a home than a hostel. Everything is very familiar and especially the owner is very helpful and gentle. He gives everyone a nice welcoming and have a hundred of special tips to discover the city. It is perfect for a short stay and also for beeing longer in town. I was there once and I come here again and again when I stay in this city. So book here and be sure you have make a good choice.

This small (4 rooms) guesthouse/hostel/B&B (not clear) offers wonderful value in an excellent location.
I confirm every detail of the previous reviewer: good rooms, kitchen and free Internet access, safe and practical location in a great neighboorhood, and very useful advice by Andrea, the owner. Our room had a wonderful view of Naples and the bay, and even if we chose to leave before 9 and Andrea's arrival in the morning we made good use of his recommendations (especially the small trattoria called Trattoria Casillo near Montesanto train station, that you wouldn't find by yourself) and feasted on the cornetti he left for us each day !
