We stayed here for 5 nights during a quick visit to Naples. The hotel is right on the edge of the old town and is easy walking distance from the central railway station and the Archaeological Museum. Staying here in early March, the hotel seemed to be very quiet and some things, like the restaurant, bar and air conditioning, seemed to be closed or partially available. Although our room was overlooking the very busy road, we didn't have any problem with noise. The hotel itself is really nice, with plenty of shady areas to sit and very pleasant rooms.

What a fantastic hotel. Excellent rooms and great service from the staff - front of hotel and those behind the scenes in maid services etc. Clean, towels changes daily, weather forecast delivered to your door - brilliant. Only slight downside is the restaurant is quite expensive - nice food don't get me wrong, but a little dear.....

Room Tip: People say inside court rooms are nicer, ours was overlooking the main street, but we had a great view of Vesuvius !!!

Read many of the reviews on TA, most mention the area, Have to say its fine, felt safe, although the area near the central station could be considered slightly intimidating but most stations in strange cities can be also.
The staff were very helpful, especially Stephano who provided excellent directions to a number of places we wanted to see.
The room was very clean, excellent shower. Cant comment on the restaurant as we ate away from the hotel. For breakfast I can recommend the coffee/pastry shop just over the street, where for about 5euro we had amazing coffee and various cakes- the shop has won awards and has huge trophies inside!
the centre is about 20mins walk away-perfectly safe
all in all very happy with our stay

A fantastic luxurious hotel. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Stazione Centrale in Naples. I suggest getting a taxi there at night. The hotel is huge and unmissable once you reach the right street. Italian maps can be rather confusing and I'm a seasoned traveller.

Just outside the hotel are several small pizza places to get original and delicious Naples pizza!

I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: You may want a room on a higher floor as in the morning the street is very busy and you may be disturbed by noise.

The hotel is very good and looks magnificent. Very convenient only 10 min walk from the railway station and the alibus stop for the airport. Our room was very spacious and the whole place is immaculately clean and well appointed having been converted from a previous palazzo only 3 years ago. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. A number of reviews on trip advisor refer to the surrounding dodgy area. We are a couple in our early 60's and felt quite secure walking through the very characterful local centro storico. Many of the streets are buzzing with people, cars and scooters and therefore felt entirely safe, just avoid any deserted back alleys and I feel sure you will be fine.
My one criticism of the hotel is the restaurant. We did not have breakfast there as it seemed over priced and for 3 euros pp we were able to get an excellent fresh pastry and coffee in any number of local cafes. We ate once in the restaurant on Sunday when we were told that most of the places in the centro storico would be closed and possibly best not to wander the deserted streets. The food in the hotel restaurant was ok but it was just too expensive, 103 Euros for 2 of the cheaper starters and 2 pasta mains plus a bottle of the cheapest wine. There was one man with 2 children as the only other customers that night. I think that the hotel should take this on board. Otherwise an excellent hotel and base

Room Tip: If you want a good cheap pizza where the locals go try the Pizzeria Di Matteo. There are a limited number of seats and many people eat on the hoof. So if you want to sit down go before 7 or be prepared to wait. You will be rewarded with an excellent massive freshly cooked pizza for 4 Euros. If you are feeling brave go for lunch to Trattatoria da Peppino on Via Solitaria near the Piazza Plebiscita. It is not easy to find up a small side street but we found it from a recommendation in The Independant newspaper. The owner will give you a plate of antipasti to share whilst his wife cooks your pasta in the kitchen in full view. There is some choice but it is mainly a question as to what she happens to be cooking. It is like going to your granny's for lunch. A local businessman in for lunch was intrigued as to how we had found the place! The bill was 30 euros for 2 people, starter, pasta dish, a biscuity pastry, bottle of wine and coffee!
