The hotel design is beautiful, our room was romantic, the hotel is located in a typical are of Naples, which is pleasant. Unfortunately, though the hotel seems not so far away from the train station, we had to take a cab because of a feeling of insecurity if we had to walk with our luggages.

The service is overall good but the staff (at the entrance or in the restaurant) seems a bit rigid and not enough constructive when confronted to solve an unusual situation. We had to always propose for solutions which they adopted but after first telling us that they can't do anything about it.

But the level of the hotel is worth the price, We felt like staying one more night

Room Tip: The very small pizza shop close to the hotel has been our best culinar experience in Italy! We never...

Spent three nights here on at the start of a holiday to Sicily. Great hotel with friendly staff and comfortable accommadation. We were given advice to avoid some areas after dark which is not something we have come across in the past. The surrounding areas of the hotel were litter strewn (as was all but the centre of Naples) with a nearby park area a favourite for the local drunks. That said we still ventured out in the evening and enjoyed eating in a couple of local restaurants. Spent a good day looking around the nearby old town which was very interesting and non touristy.
Hotel breakfast was varied and very nice but can't comment on dinner.
In hindsight would have spent only two nights in Naples.

What a pleasant surprise to arrive at this hidden hotel, after all the negative and scaremongering comments that paved our way to Naples. This is a haven amidst the earthy bustle of native Italian city life. We loved it. Venturing out into the small side roads of the old town in search of yummy pastries and dark creamy coffee at one of the many local cafes. The hotel is a modern adaptation of an old palace or Palazzo and runs a shuttle service to its sister hotel The Mercure, near the port: very handy. We ate fish in the lee of the castle, where I had the best mussels I've ever eaten. Don't believe people who whistle through their teeth at your mention of staying in Naples; it is wonderful. We went to the Archaeological Museum before visiting Pompeii and Herculaneum, a good plan. Climbed Versuvius, and hired a car and weaved along The Amalfi coastline. Stunning.

This is a really nice and clean B&B in Napoli. The area was really nice and the big gates at the front of the driveway made me feel really safe. The rooms were really clean, we had the violet room which was very pretty and always clean. The guy at the reception was very nice.
The only negative thing i will note is that as a bed and breakfast we thought they provide a proper cooked breakfast, instead we got packaged muffins and croisants, muesli bars, yoghurt, juice and little snacks like that.. if you're having a long and busy day exploring and going on day trips like we did its not really filling and you need to spend extra money to get some decent breakfast.

We decided to stay one night in Naples and chose this hotel in the old city. There is very little charm about this area of the city which is busy and dirty, apart from some pedestrianised streets of historic interest. However, this hotel was a complete contrast to the environs. It is modern and clean. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were quiet, of a reasonable size and clean. The highlight of the hotel is the internal courtyard which acts as a bar at night and breakfast area. It is some walk from several of the attractions and we did not see any tempting restaurants nearby, but there is a free shuttle bus to the near the port.

This was a great hotel, the structure classy, the breakfast excellent, the staff helpful and the rooms clean and comfortable but its in the wrong place!
Between the hotel and the station is an area that feels a bit on edge, sex cinemas and street trading. If you stay here and come home late, take a taxi (10 euro from castel d`ovo). The hotel is on the edge of the historical area which is great to walk through, its just the first 400m. There is a bus r2 from the station to the centre, the train to pompei is twice an hour and the hotel has a free minibus in the mornings to the centre.
Everything was great about this hotel and if they utilised the free minibus for an evening service it would have been perfect.

Excellent hotel, which sits like an oasis in the old historic (but quite run down) area of Naples. Very high quality rooms in a beautifully restored building. Service was excellent in all respects. Breakfast was great (& included) with lots of choice and was of far superior quality to most hotel breakfast buffets. The hotel also runs a free shuttle service to take guests to and from the main part of town, which is not far away. I would definitely recommend this place, assuming don't mind the area its in. It also represents excellent value for money.
