Great location, wonderful food but very rude unhelpful waiters.
Lovely harbourside setting with tables outside right by the water and views across the bay to Vesuvius and back across the causeway to the hotels on Via Partenope. The food was excellent, very fresh seafood & fish perfectly cooked. Not cheap, but also not extortionately expensive considering the location. Service was reasonably prompt. All good so far, but rarely have I come across such rudeness from waiters. They were abrupt and unhelpful. They tried to persuade us to have things we didn't want and the sommelier was extremely unhelpful. The first 3 or 4 wines we selected from the menu were "finished" i.e. not available and he was unable to advise us suitable alternatives - repeatedly suggesting something we didn't want. The wine we settled on was OK, but nothing special. At the end of the meal they pointed out to us many times that service was not included and were very blunt about wanting a tip. Needless to say what they received from us was minimal. If you can put up with the service I'd say worth a visit, but if you are looking for Italian charm you won't find it here!
