I have eaten pizza in many places in Napoli. Many are very good. I would rate this place the best. Excellent flavor, tender crust. My favorite was the margerita with buffalo mozzarella. I also tried my friends with zucchini blossoms. Get there early! Saturday evening should be avoided unless you don't mind a long wait. Great vibe, friendly staff.

The atmosphere is understated, if not plain ... but that just leaves the pizza in the spotlight, which it deserves without a doubt. The special pizzas and the simple margherita (only 6 euro, are you kidding??!!) were simply amazing. Heavenly- I could eat it every day! It was obvious that the ingredients were the finest. It's no wonder Enzo teaches throughout the world. He knows what he's doing. If only I could be his understudy. Enzo personally greeted and spoke with us. The waitstaff treated us with the utmost courtesy; prompt service, and obliging-- even as obvious foreigners in a very local place. His pizza alone is probably the only reason I'd ever return to Naples.

Enzo Coccia is a genius. The pizza is amazing, the dough is like a cloud and the ambience is that real, fun pizza experience you're looking for.

The pizza is very very good. The problem is the noise of 90 people eating and talking around you. After a while everybody is shouting and the experience turns into a nightmare. After 20:00 you have to endure a queue and eat fast before being asked kindly to leave to make place for the other waves of guests. Dont go there to enjoy an evening with friends but to eat a good pizza without talking in a hurry. By the way, take cash, their Mastercard didnt work.

Being in Naples over Christmas I was told to absolutely try Enzo Coccia's La Notizia by a trusted friend, but to be ready to wait to get a table. So not too surprisingly, even in the usually quiet days after Christmas, we got to the original La Notizia finding it already full at 8 PM and with a que of people waiting. Thankfully our group of 6 was advised to head to Coccia's new La Notizia PizzAria, less than half a mile along the road (94A Via Michelangelo da Caravaggio).

Being as small as the original pizzeria, we still had to wait a bit to get a table (30 minutes) but it was well worth it. The rotolini starters (the salsiccia e friarielli one is a must try) were a real treat and made with the same light and flavourfull dough which marks the pizze; we went for a couple of traditional ones like the margherita DOP and a couple of more creative ones. All were as good as it gets.

The service is basic but friendly, perfectly fine for the type of place. I liked the selection of Italian microbrewery beers offered which, together with the wine selection (mostly local), gives a fair choice to pick from.
