“The best Pastiera ANYWHERE, and home made foods that are worthy of the best reviews!”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

I ate here almost every day for lunch when I studied in Napoli in 2008 and can honestly say there is NOTHING they make that is good, but rather, everything is amazing! They have the best Pastiera I have ever eaten in my life, if you have never had Pastiera, put it on your 'food' bucket list. And there is no need to mention coffee since my tastebuds also miss that as well.

Every day for pranzo they have home cooked specialties that would make any Nonna jealous!

Probably one of the best bakeries I have ever been to, and the food was just as incredible as the bakery goods. I am glad I don't visit my friends too often in Napoli, and better yet, my body is lucky I don't live there because if I did, I would probably weigh at least 500 lbs!

Ho mangiato a Scaturchio quasi tutti i giorni per pranzo quando ho studiato a Napoli. Mi manca MOLTISSIMO Scaturchio! Io sono molto passionato di Scaturchio!

Spero di ritonarci forse l'autuno successivo - Magari!

“The greatest coffee and pastries”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

Having been in Naples for a romantic weekend I tried the Scaturchio after reading multiple reviews. Having greatly enjoyed both the espresso coffee and millefoglie while seated at outside table. Great!

“A Symphony for the Senses”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

On the 3rd of January we bought some sfogliatelle and Baba from this renowned pasticceria in Naples after visiting the astonishing Veiled Christ at the Sansevero chapel close by.
The Baba was soaked in Rum with just the right amount and it was bliss, melting in the mouth and together with the sfogliatelle one could have died and gone to heaven without realising it!

“Excellent pastries even when full from all the pizzas”
Reviewed January 2, 2013 via mobile

We ate them outside rather than having a seat - what a wonderful pastry the sfogliatelle is. Even after we had three pizzas we tried this pastry and found it amazing and alone enough to justify the trip to naples.

“The best pastry almond torrone”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

I crave Scaturchio soft torrone. Tender and not too sweet, it melts in your mouth. Scaturchio has been making this traditional treat in Naples since 1905 . They maintain the pastry traditions of the area by adhering to the original recipes. They hand select the ingredients and continue to pull the sweet by hand. The result is simply perfection. A gorgeous confection. For 11 Euros you can enjoy the best pastry almond torrone.
