A fellow American who used to live in Napoli recommended La Sacrestia as a romantic spot. It is perched in an incredibly scenic location on the hill above Mergellina, but once you are inside there is no evidence of this because you cannot see out the windows! As it was Valentine's Day I hoped for a special experience (they provided a complementary pour of Prosecco, heart-shaped fried biscuits and a special DJ) but the food was only average and, for Naples, quite expensive. Service was friendly in the helpful but brusque Napolitano manner. The fried seafood was good but not amazing. I enjoyed the "guitar pasta" with scorpion-fish, but again it was only average for the price. The best thing was a small (3 bites) vegetable pizza that they offered as an antipasto, but charged 6 euro for! It could be so much better.
