We were unsure what exactly to expect as the owner has limited English but we had walked past it one night and the smells coming from the food were so far and away better than any other restaurant in the area so we thought we would try. There are no menus but three dishes are made form the fish you choose.
When we were arrived we were treated to some rose beer and yummy bread. The waiter spoke English which was a relief as our Italian is poor. We were then asked to go and choose our fish from the huge array, this was to form the basis of all three dishes. No idea what the fish was we chose but it was flat and had big eyes! the starter was ceviche fish with a langoustine on a bed of salad. I do not really like sushi and would never choose this on a menu but it was superb. The pasta with the fish was sublime, the best course on our holiday. The final course was a fillet of the fish with layered potato slices covering it. Ordinarily this would have been excellent but the other two dishes somewhat over shadowed it! A fantastic pistachio pud finished a wonderful meal. It cost about 130 euros including a bottle of wine. To be honest superb value for money and we would go again!
