A really lovely walk through woody surroundings. The view from the top was nice but not spectacular, though to be fair there was some low cloud at the time. It was pretty strenuous but by no means impossible, and I'd only call myself acceptably fit. There's also no need to overdo the equipment - I saw some people heading up there with hiking boots and walking poles, but I managed it in a sturdy pair of sandals. It takes about 40 minutes to get there from Ischia on the CD bus - ask the driver to let you off at Fontana.
