We stayed at this hotel in April2014 and were very disappointed with the service. We booked the rooms via booking.com and the pictures shown were completely different from what we got when we reached the hotel. The junior suite is NOT WORTH the price at all. The Furniture is outdated and rusted in the balcony. Although it has the sea view , the sea is about 1kms far and not worth it. Further , the linens and the rooms are not classy and elegant for the suite price and the 4 stars for this hotel ( it is also the sister concern of a 5 star brand nearby ).
The breakfast was terrible for a 4 star , and the hotel is just cheating customers with the 4 star brand and pictures on the internet. There were not even Drinking water in the rooms and the linen on the bed was not also not clean. The staff at the reception was OK. They also went onto charge 8 euros for a bottle of water from the room.

Highly suggest not to BOOK this hotel. Pls search for other options at Capri as there are many options available for the price you pay for the Junior Suite.

Room Tip: Do not book any rooms in this hotel at all...Not worth the price and no value for money.

This boutique Hotel is owned by the Quisisana 5* Hotel and is more affordable. Far enough from the Piazetta and its noise, it was a perfect stay with the most attentive service which help us to re discover the Capri Island. They did a good choice for the restaurant and their concierge service was impeccable for the private boat tour and the transfer of luggage for an affordable price. We noted celebrities from the Swiss Jewellery were staying there.

We just loved this small funny hotel. Although it is owned by Quissana it certainly isn't five star however it was great fun and we had many laughs with the breakfast staff. Just like Manuel in Faulty Towers. Rooms fantastic and large, great views and great firm beds. Rooms a bit dated but otherwise everything worked and we found it to be very clean. Staff fantastic and very helpful.
Location just fantastic without the stuffiness of Quissana.

Having been to Capri several times, I selected the Flora knowing it was owned by a larger hotel group of good reputation. We booked a junior suite expecting an above average room

The best thing about the Flora is its location. Very centrally located with pretty views from its pool deck area

However, the hotel itself is in desperate need of upgrade, particularly at the prices they charge

Our junior suite had a nice balcony with lovely a lovely seaside view. However the room and furniture was quite dated (not unusual for Capri). That I can live with, even for the high hotel rate. What I can't live with we're the dirty bed linens and towels. Very gross. The hotel swapped them after my girlfriend called down to the desk, but it was quite unpleasant. Also, the bathroom is quite dated. Shower leaked onto the floor, the toilet struggled to flush and fill, etc. I could probably have overlooked these if I was getting a standard room or it the rate was more reasonable. But given what I was paying for the suite (in the context of other Capri options), I was very disappointed

The breakfast was kinda nothing special. Just pasties, jams, juices, and coffees. We were told that hot options were available, but when we asked it confused the staff. Front desk staff were OK

So overall, great location. But not worth the premium price, at least for the junior suite. Kinda gross room conditions. Overall, I'd suggest exploring your hotel options in Capri as there are better choices -- particularly those that don't rest on the brand perception of the Flora's sister hotel (Quisisana)

This is a cute hotel, but old. The rooms are old and the hot water is limited (it can only accomodate 1 person and a bit more). The breakfast is just okay, and the swimming pool was tiny. The staff was nice e, except the breakfast staffs, who were rude and can speak a bit of english only.
The company they hire for transport from Naples to capri though, was not great. We asked for a bigger car on our way tos the airport; instead, they got us an even smaller car.

Room Tip: Get the superior room, the junior suite was scary.

I stayed during the first 2 weeks of July. It was delightful. Its just down the street from the Hotel Quisisana, who, to my surprise, was the same owner. Its a lovely boutique hotel, with the pool area facing the ocean and cliffs which was beautiful The service was EXCELLENT. The staff was very attentive. They even took our bags directly from the hydrofoil to the hotel for us, which was an enormous convenience. We had requested a room change, which they accomodated. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Great hotel, location, staff. I highly recommend it!

Room Tip: there was no fitness center nor spa, but if you are interested, there are options at the quisisana w...
